Uneven upright slabs with tipped bars and rounded joins
Jolly Tales places white capitals in two lively rows on black, where the J hooks broadly, the Y arms and several top bars tilt and the feet sit at slightly different angles, so rounded joins soften the otherwise substantial upright strokes.

Sturdy stroke walls and open counters weed cleanly on adhesive vinyl, HTV apparel film, and cut cardstock.
Visual anatomy & craft review
The slabs stay heavy, the top bars tip at small angles, the feet settle unevenly and the joins round off. That tilt is the character: the word keeps a bouncing rhythm without becoming a novelty face, which is why the sample sets two rows on a plain dark ground. The variation is visible in the specimen only and no automatic contextual shifting is established, so check the complete phrase and give the tipped bars 18 mm of room between rows from 34 pt.

The bouncy slabs set a party banner, and the heavy forms read at 54 pt across an A3 sheet, where the tipping bars give the row a light, uneven rhythm.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print an A3 banner: set the greeting at 54 pt over two rows, keep 18 mm of clear ground between them so the tipped bars do not touch, and keep 20 mm of margin all round.
Pre-production check
Tipped bars can collide with the row above; check the laid-out artwork at full size and open the gap to at least 20 mm.
The uneven slabs suit a fair sign, and the rounded joins hold a short title at 46 pt on a printed board, where the bounce reads at walking distance.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 500 by 250 mm board: set the title at 46 pt on one row, keep 22 mm of clear ground beneath before the times at 14 pt, and keep 22 mm of border so the uneven feet stay inside.
Pre-production check
A bouncing baseline beside a straight line looks misaligned; check the board and keep the second line in a plain slab.
The friendly slabs suit a seasonal label, and the tipped bars give a short name character at 22 pt on a 55 mm panel, small enough for a jar but still clear.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 55 by 40 mm label: set the patch name at 22 pt, keep 6 mm of clear ground beneath before the price line at 7 pt, and keep 5 mm of border on each side.
Pre-production check
Small sludge counters at 16 pt close on a curved label; check the label in place before the run.
