Visual anatomy & craft review
Faith is a flourished copperplate bridal calligraphy in a gold-leaf treatment: a steep slope, strong thin-thick contrast, hairline exits that end in a flourish and long entry strokes that reach back over the word. The hairlines are the design and the first thing to lose on textured stock, and the flourishes need side and vertical clearance. It needs roughly 28 mm for the hairline and the flourish to read, and it is best in one fine gold on a deep ground or a dense ink on smooth ivory, and it must never be set small.

A copperplate script with flourishes gives a wedding an engraved plate rather than a printed card. The hairlines hold at 28 pt on smooth card, and the flourishes reach past the word so a centred layout reads as composed rather than clipped.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Invitation 130 x 180 mm, names 28 pt with 16 mm flourish clearance, details 9/13 pt, 18 mm margins. Seating chart 400 x 600 mm, names 20 mm, 24 mm margins. Vow card 105 x 148 mm, text 9.5/13 pt.
Pre-production check
A 400 x 600 mm chart at 20 mm drops the hairline under 0.2 mm and the names print as broken threads. Keep the chart at 24 mm or print digitally on smooth stock, and proof one chart before the set.
A copperplate script reads as an engraved mark rather than a wordmark, which is what a bridal atelier wants on a seal. The hairlines hold at 24 mm in one fine ink, and the flourishes widen the mark without a separate ornament.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Card 85 x 55 mm, word 24 mm with 12 mm flourish clearance, details 7/9 pt, 8 mm margins. Box seal 40 mm round, monogram 22 mm, 3 mm die margin. Tissue band 300 x 60 mm, word 20 mm, 10 mm margins.
Pre-production check
A 40 mm seal at a 22 mm monogram fills the flourishes into a solid disc. Use the initials alone on seals, and pour one seal before the batch.
A flourished copperplate carries the gesture of a February card without a printed heart. The flourish holds at 26 pt, and one gold ink prints the card, the band and the sleeve from one file.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Card A6, greeting 26 pt with 14 mm flourish clearance, note 8/11 pt, 14 mm margins. Ribbon band 200 x 30 mm, word 9 mm, 6 mm margins. Gift sleeve 160 x 80 mm, word 18 mm, 10 mm margins.
Pre-production check
On a 200 x 30 mm band the flourish doubles at the fold and reads as a knot in the thread. Keep the band to one word in the plain cut, and wrap one gift before the order.
