Wide fine calligraphy with signature flourishes
Modern Calligraphy is a wide fine calligraphy in metallic gold on a pale ground: hairline joins, big swash capitals on the M and the C, and flourishes that travel the full width of each line before curling back.

Visual anatomy & craft review
The two words are stacked and each fills its line, and the face is a display calligraphy: the M opens with a wide loop that rises above the word, the o and the d are narrow, the C of Calligraphy throws a swash to the left and the y drops a long loop that curls under the whole second line and returns to the right. The contrast is high, with a hairline that swells into a soft shade on the downstrokes, and the gold ink is a presentation choice rather than something the font does. Two tracked capital lines above and below the block name the style as vintage script calligraphy, which is exactly what the letterforms are. Modern Calligraphy is a display script for invitations, labels and packaging that need a vintage voice: the flourishes need wide margins, and the fine strokes need a smooth stock and a large size.

A vintage calligraphy in one metallic ink gives a bottle the look of an old house label, and the wide flourishes fit the proportions of a tall label.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 50 by 100 mm label: set the brand at 18 pt on one line, keep 7 mm of clear ground beneath before the strength at 5 pt, and hold 5 mm of margin on all four sides.
Pre-production check
Fine hairlines break on a textured label; print one on the real stock and check the thinnest join before the order.
A wide calligraphy sets a period tone for a themed wedding, and the flourishes give the card its ornament without a border or illustration.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 130 by 180 mm invitation: set the greeting at 32 pt over two lines, keep 20 mm of clear ground beneath before the details at 9 pt, and hold 18 mm of margin so the flourishes are not trimmed.
Pre-production check
Flourishes on two stacked lines can overlap; print one invitation at the finished size and check the clearance before the suite.
A vintage script on a folder cover reads as a restaurant with history, and the fine stroke keeps a printed cover from looking heavy.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 210 by 297 mm folder cover: set the house name at 60 pt over two lines, keep 24 mm of clear ground beneath before the strap line at 11 pt, and hold 22 mm of margin on all sides.
Pre-production check
Hairline strokes vanish on a matte laminate; proof one cover with the finisher and check the joins before the run.
