Narrow upright capitals paired with a looped connected kitchen script
Country Kitchen is a two-cut duo in which narrow upright capitals set the plain line and a darker connected script carries the warm one, so a kitchen sign can separate a heading from a phrase without a third family.

Visual anatomy & craft review
The capital cut stands narrow and unjoined with even strokes and tight counters, while the script cut connects through tall k and h loops and long low entry and exit strokes at a heavier weight. The contrast in join is the character: one member is printed, one is written, which is why the sample pairs a thin cap line with a dark script beneath it. Set the caps at 16 pt and the script at 22 pt for a balanced pair, and weld the script before cutting from 1.1 inches of x-height. The photographed interior, the boards and the props are presentation; the lettered sign is the duo.

Concrete hierarchy, scale and production guidance tailored to Country Kitchen’s stroke geometry.
The narrow caps carry the plain line while the script carries the warmth, and the pair holds at 50 mm on a printed board above a counter.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 500 by 250 mm board: set the caps at 50 mm, set the script line at 60 mm beneath with 30 mm of clear ground, and keep 30 mm of border all round.
Pre-production check
A looped script printed under narrow caps with less than 20 mm of air reads as one crowded block; check the board and open the gap.
The script gives a jar tag its personal line, and the narrow caps keep the flavour readable at 12 pt above it on a 50 mm kraft tag.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 50 by 80 mm tag: set the caps at 12 pt at the head, set the script at 22 pt beneath, and punch a 4 mm hole 10 mm from the top clear of both lines.
Pre-production check
A script exit stroke printed toward the punched hole weakens the tag; check the die and keep 8 mm between hole and stroke.
The duo gives a box a heading and a phrase in one palette, and the caps stay legible at 16 pt on a 90 mm printed label with a plain ground.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 90 by 50 mm label: set the shop name at 16 pt in the caps, set the phrase at 24 pt in the script beneath, and keep 8 mm of clear border at each end.
Pre-production check
Two members printed at the same optical weight flatten the contrast; check the proof and keep the script visibly darker than the caps.
