Comic by Art cafe is a full-colour OpenType-SVG display in which every letter ships pre-rendered with cyan, yellow and magenta Ben-Day halftone dots, black ink outlines and a hard 3D extrusion, so a word arrives as finished comic artwork rather than as a shape to colour. Because the colour is baked into the glyph, the face cannot be recoloured without losing the halftone, and it needs size for the dot screen to read as dots. It needs roughly 40 mm for the dots to resolve, and it is best used white-on-white or on a pale ground where nothing fights the CMYK.

Pre-production check
The halftone screen in the artwork clashes with the printer's own screen and a moiré pattern appears across the title. Print at 300 dpi or higher with no additional screening, and check one pulled sheet before the run.
Comic-project display, reading-corner header and certificate
Pre-coloured comic letters read as finished artwork a class can assemble, which is what a primary display needs without a design budget. The baked halftone prints on a school colour copier, and the heavy shapes enlarge to 200 mm without new artwork.
