Tilted display with heart overlays
Valentine is a heavy tilted display in red on white: broad caps with uneven widths and a slight rotation on each letter, with small solid hearts overlapping the edges at random, and a framed logo above and a tracked line beneath.

Sturdy stroke walls and open counters weed cleanly on adhesive vinyl, HTV apparel film, and cut cardstock.
Visual anatomy & craft review
The two words are stacked and every letter is tilted by a slightly different angle, which is what gives the block its handmade character, and the small hearts are placed over the edges rather than inside the counters, so they read as an applique rather than as part of the letterform. The drawing is heavy with uneven widths, so the face holds at a distance, and the single red keeps the composition immediate. The framed logo above and the tracked line beneath are the only plain elements, and the scattered hearts around the sheet are staging. Because the tilt and the hearts are the design, the face is a display cut for a seasonal card or a shirt, and it needs a decent size for the hearts to read as hearts rather than as dots.

Concrete hierarchy, scale and production guidance tailored to Valentine’s stroke geometry.
A tilted display with hearts sets the occasion in the lettering, and the single colour keeps a home print clean at 300 dpi.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
A6 card: the greeting at 28 pt, the message at 9 pt, and the date at 8 pt. Keep 14 mm margins so the hearts never touch the trim, and print two colours on a white card.
Pre-production check
Check the 28 pt greeting at home-print resolution, where a heart can close; keep the hearts above 1 mm. Confirm the 9 pt message keeps a 4.5:1 contrast and that the card folds flat.
A bold tilted display prints as one screen and reads as a novelty shirt, which is what a themed celebration is asking for.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 240 mm chest graphic: the slogan at 60 mm cap height, the year at 30 mm, and two inks on a light shirt. Keep the smallest heart at 5 mm and place the graphic 80 mm below the collar.
Pre-production check
Check the screen at actual mesh, where a 5 mm heart can fill; enlarge it. Wash-test one shirt and confirm the tilt and the hearts stay separate after five cycles.
A playful display suits a seasonal product, and the heavy letters keep a short product name legible on a small paper tag.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 55 by 45 mm label: the shop at 12 pt, the product at 8 pt, and the price at 6 pt. Keep 4 mm inside the die and print two colours on a cream stock.
Pre-production check
Check the 12 pt shop on a small tag, where a heart can close; keep the size above 11 pt. Confirm the 6 pt price reads at arm's length and that the label peels cleanly.
