Swashed vintage editorial serif with a slanted italic companion
Majestic Letters is a vintage editorial serif in which the capitals carry curled swashes, the contrast runs high and a slanted italic companion is supplied, so a title page can mix upright and leaning forms from one family.

Crisp hairline serifs shine on stationery, foil stamping, and packaging; add slight offset for small decals.
Visual anatomy & craft review
The capital M is drawn with splayed stems and a wide base serif, and the swashes leave the ends of several capitals and curl above the x-height, which is what gives the face its engraved, early-twentieth-century look. The lowercase keeps a moderate contrast with bracketed serifs and a generous x-height, so a phrase reads comfortably at 30 pt and above, while the italic companion leans forward and carries the same swash programme. Counters stay open, the fit is fairly generous and the serifs are fine enough to need a good stock at small sizes. The interior photograph, the cream ink, the sparkle ornament and the four small corner captions are presentation; the typeface is the two words.

Concrete hierarchy, scale and production guidance tailored to Majestic Letters’s stroke geometry.
The swashed serif gives an invitation its period elegance without a script, and the italic companion supplies a second voice for the details at no extra cost.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Set both names in the upright at 24 pt on a 120 by 180 mm card, set the details in the italic at 9 pt, and hold 16 mm between the names and the details block.
Pre-production check
Fine serifs thin out on textured stock; print one card on the actual paper and keep the italic details at 9 pt or above.
The swashed capitals read as an engraved shopfront name, and the italic carries a strapline without changing family at 18 pt.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Set the brand in the upright at 18 pt on a 120 by 40 mm plate, set the strapline in the italic at 7 pt, and leave 12 mm of clearance so the swash is not cut by the plate edge.
Pre-production check
Etching a swash needs a minimum stroke; confirm the producer's minimum line and simplify one curl rather than flattening the whole mark.
The swashed serif gives a cover the gravity of a masthead, and the italic supplies a subtitle that reads as an editorial note rather than as another headline.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Set the title in the upright at 84 pt across the top third of an A4 cover, set the subtitle in the italic at 18 pt, and leave 22 mm of margin at each side of the page.
Pre-production check
A swashed capital at 84 pt can crowd the trim; check the cover at full size and shorten the swash rather than reducing the title.
