Rounded linked script with loose spacing and a light monoline stroke
Classroom is a rounded linked script in which the letters join through soft loops, the stroke stays monoline and even, and the spacing runs loose enough that each letter keeps its own shape.

Visual anatomy & craft review
The lowercase c opens as a wide crescent and the l rises into a plain loop, and the double s in the middle reverses through four soft curves before the r and the o close their bowls. Nothing sharpens: the joins are rounded, the ends are rounded and the weight never changes, which is why the word reads as friendly rather than as calligraphic. The m and the final flourish run out in a wide tail. Because the spacing is loose, letters stay distinct at 14 pt on a small card and the face never turns into a tangle, which matters for a script that will be used by people who are not designers. The pale ground, the pastel ribbons, the soft shadow and the two caption lines are presentation; the script is the two words.

The rounded monoline reads at a distance and keeps a teacher's name friendly, which is what a door plate at 40 pt has to do.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print at 210 by 70 mm: set the name in the script at 40 pt, set the room number in a 12 pt rounded sans at the right, and leave 12 mm of margin so the final flourish stays inside the plate.
Pre-production check
A loose script name can spread wider than expected; check the plate at final size and set the room number on a second line if the flourish reaches it.
The rounded script carries a short thank-you warmly while the printed message stays readable at 18 pt across a folded card, so one piece has both a voice and a body.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print on a 148 by 105 mm folded card: set the greeting in the script at 18 pt, set the message in a 10 pt rounded sans at 14 pt leading, and leave 16 mm between the greeting and the first message line.
Pre-production check
A script greeting handwritten over a printed message can look unbalanced; check the proof and keep the greeting to two words so the script stays a heading.
The linked script fills a planner cover at 60 pt and the loose fit keeps the term label legible from the front of a desk.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print on an A4 cover: set the subject in the script at 60 pt across the upper third, set the year in a 14 pt caps sans beneath, and keep the bottom 60 mm clear for the pupils' names.
Pre-production check
Laminating a cover with a soft script can flatten the shape; check a laminated sample and keep the stroke at least 1.5 mm wide before the run.
