Heavy retro script paired with a rounded block sans in two sizes
Tropical Sunlight is a duo of a heavy retro script with broad loops and a rounded block sans, shown stacked so the script carries the name and the sans shouts the second line.

Visual anatomy & craft review
The script half is a fat connected hand whose capitals open into wide loops, whose joins carry the same weight as the stems and whose ends curl rather than taper, giving the word a painted-sign feel at any size above 30 pt. The sans half is a rounded block with no contrast, short caps and wide letterfit, and in the sample it is set larger than the script so the two lines balance as a single badge. A smaller italic line beneath shows how the pair handles a third register. The script's loops are what let it hold a wide measure without tracking, and the sans supplies the shout. The cream ground, the navy and orange inks, the small beach drawing and the credits are presentation; the duo is the lettering.

Concrete hierarchy, scale and production guidance tailored to Tropical Sunlight’s stroke geometry.
The script draws the name and the rounded sans does the shouting, which is exactly how a seasonal shopfront sign is built from a single pairing.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Set the shop name in the script at 20 cm on the fascia, set the open or closed line in the rounded sans at 8 cm, and hold 15 cm of margin at each side of the panel.
Pre-production check
A heavy script painted over a rounded sans can merge at the tails; check the sign at full size and keep 4 cm of clear space between the lines.
The pair lets one label carry a script brand and a block product line, and both hold up at 13 pt and 8 pt on a small curved panel.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Set the brand in the script at 13 pt on a 60 by 90 mm label, set the flavour in the sans at 8 pt, and leave 6 mm at the sides so the loops are not squeezed by the label edge.
Pre-production check
Curved labels compress the outer letters of a heavy script; check a printed label on the actual bottle and widen the side margins first.
The retro pair suits a warm-weather celebration and reads at a distance in daylight, which is what an outdoor welcome board has to do.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Set the greeting in the script at 11 cm on a 700 by 500 mm board, set the names in the sans at 5 cm beneath, and leave 12 cm of margin so the loops stay on the board.
Pre-production check
Boards in full sun wash out warm inks; check the sign in place and use a darker ground rather than enlarging the lettering.
