Stepped pixel capitals with yellow, orange and pink horizontal bands
Arcade Blast builds block capitals from visible square steps, where bright yellow upper portions shift to orange middles and deep pink lower bands, the O and A keep square counters, diagonals become staircases and a dark offset edge adds depth.

Sturdy stroke walls and open counters weed cleanly on adhesive vinyl, HTV apparel film, and cut cardstock.
Visual anatomy & craft review
The steps stay one unit wide, the colour changes on a horizontal line through the letters, the corners never round and the counters close as rectangles. That stacked band is the character: the word looks lit from above by a shaded screen rather than filled with a gradient, which is why the cover adds stars and a rocky pixel landscape. The scene and the depth treatment belong to the artwork, so smooth nothing and scale in whole multiples of the step.

The banded pixel caps set an arcade theme, and the square steps read at 60 pt across an A3 banner without any smoothing, so the grid stays honest at print size.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print an A3 banner: set the heading at 60 pt so every step lands on a whole module, keep 22 mm beneath before the details at 14 pt, and keep 20 mm of margin so no step is trimmed at the sheet edge.
Pre-production check
Scaling the file to a fractional size breaks the step grid; check the artwork at 100 percent and resize in whole steps.
The stepped letters suit a window decal, and the square counters stay crisp at 30 mm on a cut vinyl mark, where every corner is cut square rather than rounded.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Cut a 150 mm decal: set the shop name at 30 mm, keep every step on one module so no corner is half-sized, and keep 6 mm of clear vinyl around the outermost pixel so the cut does not clip a step.
Pre-production check
A pixel corner cut under 1 mm tears on vinyl; check the cut file and hold the name at 28 mm or above.
The pixel caps give a club poster its theme, and the block letters hold a short title at 44 pt on an A4 sheet, which prints cleanly on an office machine.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print an A4 poster: set the title at 44 pt on one row, keep 20 mm of clear ground beneath for the meeting time at 12 pt, and keep 18 mm of margin all round so the dark offset edge stays inside the sheet.
Pre-production check
Thin offset edges printed at 20 pt read as a print misregistration; check the proof and keep the title at 36 pt or above.
