Web-crossed red block
Spider Army is a display face on a white ground: rounded red block capitals crossed by pale spiderweb lines, a large white starburst in one counter, small dark legs at the sides and plain web corners with small spiders around the frame.

Sturdy stroke walls and open counters weed cleanly on adhesive vinyl, HTV apparel film, and cut cardstock.
Visual anatomy & craft review
The plate is a craft sheet, and the construction is the useful part: the web runs across the whole letter rather than sitting inside one counter, so the word reads as something wrapped rather than patterned, and the pale lines keep the red solid at a distance. The small legs at the sides make the letters feel like creatures, which is what keeps the face specific. That construction sets a large size floor, because the web lines close first. The corner webs and the spiders are supplied ornament. It suits a card, a shirt and a poster for a Halloween subject, and the heavy weight means it holds a short word at a moderate size.

Concrete hierarchy, scale and production guidance tailored to Spider Army’s stroke geometry.
A webbed block names the theme, and the rounded forms keep it playful for a young audience rather than frightening. It reads as a bug theme.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
A6 card: the greeting at 30 pt, the details in a 10 pt sans, and the date at 9 pt. Keep 15 mm margins, print two colours on a white card and leave 12 mm at the foot for the address.
Pre-production check
Check the 30 pt greeting at home-print resolution, where a web line closes; keep it above 1.2 mm. Confirm the details read at arm's length and that the card folds flat.
A webbed block prints as costume kit, and the red reads on a light shirt where a pale face would look washed out. It reads on a light shirt.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 250 mm chest graphic: the night at 55 mm cap height, the year at 24 mm, and two inks on a light shirt. Keep the finest web line at 2 mm and place the graphic 80 mm below the collar.
Pre-production check
Check the screen at actual mesh, where a 2 mm web can fill; widen it to 3 mm. Wash-test one shirt and confirm the web stays open after five cycles.
A webbed poster reads at distance, and the heavy red block holds where a fine novelty face would turn into a texture. It holds at poster distance.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
A2 poster: the event at 100 mm cap height, the details in a 20 mm sans, and the venue at 11 mm. Keep 28 mm margins, print two colours on a light stock and keep the webs above 3 mm.
Pre-production check
Check the A2 at five metres, where a web vanishes; keep the larger webs only. Confirm the 11 mm venue reads at two metres and that the corner webs clear the type.
