Silhouette cut-out novelty alphabet
Shark Bites is a novelty silhouette alphabet in black and pale blue on white: block capitals with shark silhouettes and seaweed cut out of the fills, jagged bite notches on the vertical edges, and a scatter of pale sharks swimming behind the words.

Sturdy stroke walls and open counters weed cleanly on adhesive vinyl, HTV apparel film, and cut cardstock.
Visual anatomy & craft review
The two words are stacked and the face is a picture alphabet: the cut-outs inside the letters are sharks and weed, the edges carry bite marks, and the pale sharks behind the block give the composition depth without adding a colour to the letters. That construction makes it a display cut for one subject, and the plate sets it large enough that every silhouette is recognisable. Because the counters are partly filled with shapes, the face needs a large size and short words, and the specimen keeps to two. The jagged edges are part of the letterform rather than a distress texture, which is why they hold on a shirt at 55 mm where a speckled fill would break up. The palette is two tones, and the white ground keeps the black sharp.

Concrete hierarchy, scale and production guidance tailored to Shark Bites’s stroke geometry.
A silhouette alphabet names the subject in the letterforms, and the cut-outs read at a distance without needing an illustration on the sheet.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
A2 poster: the title at 100 mm cap height, the times in a 16 mm sans, and the address at 10 mm. Keep 28 mm margins and print two colours on a light stock with the pale sharks behind.
Pre-production check
Check the poster at five metres, where the small sharks can close into dots; keep the cut-outs above 5 mm. Confirm the 10 mm address reads at three metres and that the title fits the trim.
A novelty face prints in one screen, and the bite edges keep the theme readable on a shirt where a fine illustration would fill.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 230 mm chest graphic: the greeting at 55 mm cap height, the age at 30 mm, and one ink on a light shirt. Keep the smallest cut at 4 mm and place the graphic 80 mm below the collar.
Pre-production check
Check the screen at actual mesh, where a 4 mm cut can fill; simplify the shapes. Wash-test one shirt and confirm the cuts stay open after five cycles.
A themed alphabet marks a subject week, and the bold shapes survive a school copier where a detailed graphic would disappear.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
A3 print: the headline at 70 mm cap height, the dates in a 14 mm sans, and the rooms at 9 mm. Keep 25 mm margins and print one colour on a light sheet with a rule beneath.
Pre-production check
Check the A3 at three metres, where the bite notches can read as damage to the print; keep the pattern even. Confirm the 9 mm rooms read at arm's length and that the rule stays level.
