Rider-silhouette block display
Motocross is a novelty display on a pale ground beside a photograph of a rider mid-jump: heavy rounded capitals with pale motorcycle silhouettes cut into the fill, plus a second red block line beneath that names the file formats.

Sturdy stroke walls and open counters weed cleanly on adhesive vinyl, HTV apparel film, and cut cardstock.
Visual anatomy & craft review
The plate pairs the face with a photograph of the sport it is drawn for, which is a direct way to sell a novelty display, and the letters are heavy rounded blocks whose counters and fills carry rider silhouettes in different poses. That construction sets a large size floor, because the small silhouettes close when the letters shrink, and the plate sets the word large enough that each pose is recognisable. The pale ground and the red second line are product copy rather than typography, and the photograph is staging that names the audience. Because the fill is figurative, the face suits a club shirt, a sign and a race poster, and it is worth knowing that a buyer will need to print at display size only, which the plate shows by giving the words plenty of height.

Concrete hierarchy, scale and production guidance tailored to Motocross’s stroke geometry.
A rider-filled display names the sport in the lettering, and the heavy blocks read on a poster at track distance. The sport is named in the lettering itself.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
A2 poster: the event at 95 mm cap height, the dates in a 22 mm sans, and the gate at 11 mm. Keep 28 mm margins and print three colours on a light stock.
Pre-production check
Check the A2 at five metres, where a silhouette can close; keep it above 5 mm. Confirm the 11 mm gate reads at two metres and that the blocks stay separated.
A silhouette display prints as a club mark, and the heavy outlines keep the blocks legible on a mud-coloured shirt. A club shirt sells on the silhouette.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 250 mm chest graphic: the club at 55 mm cap height, the year at 26 mm, and three inks on a dark shirt. Keep the smallest silhouette at 5 mm and place the graphic 80 mm below the collar.
Pre-production check
Check the screen at actual mesh, where a 5 mm silhouette can fill; enlarge it. Wash-test one shirt and confirm the shapes stay distinct after five cycles.
A sport display gives a shop a mark that reads as the trade, and the heavy blocks hold on a window in vinyl. A shop sign should name the trade.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Cut 700 by 300 mm vinyl: the shop at 90 mm cap height, the hours in a 20 mm sans, and a 4 mm contour. Keep 22 mm margins and apply to a clean pane. Keep 8 mm between the mark and the frame.
Pre-production check
Check the cut at 90 mm, where a silhouette can tear on weeding; simplify it at that size. Confirm the 20 mm hours read at two metres and that the blocks clear the frame.
