Sturdy stroke walls and open counters weed cleanly on adhesive vinyl, HTV apparel film, and cut cardstock.
Visual anatomy & craft review
School and Varsity stack in the top two rows, each letter a wide slab-serifed block with a heavy black outline and a white inset that leaves a narrow inner shape, which is the classic two-layer varsity construction. The lower rows spell ABC, INSTALLABLE FONT and an alphabet with numerals, so the preview doubles as a specimen of what the file covers: uppercase only, one style, with figures. The ground is a pale wood texture and an orange panel lists the formats, beside a studio logo and a script signature. The practical point is the delivery format: because the lettering arrives as SVG, DXF, PDF and EPS as well as a font, the two layers can be cut in two colours and welded for a cutting machine, which is what a school sign or a shirt actually needs.

Concrete hierarchy, scale and production guidance tailored to School Varsity’s stroke geometry.
The inset layer gives a sign its two colours from a single purchase, and the block forms stay readable from the far side of a sports hall.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 600 by 400 mm board: set the school name at 110 pt on one row, keep 26 mm of clear ground beneath before the hall name at 18 pt, and hold 24 mm of border on all four sides.
Pre-production check
The white inset is narrow and closes up when scaled down; print one board at the final size and check the inner shape before the set.
Two cut layers in two vinyl colours is how a team shirt is actually made, and the DXF layer means the club can send the file to a cutter with no tracing.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Cut a 250 by 120 mm chest wordmark: set the name at 90 pt on one row, keep 20 mm of clear ground beneath before the number at 60 pt, and hold 18 mm from the outer contour to the shirt seam.
Pre-production check
The thin inner layer weeds badly on fine vinyl; cut one test on the actual material before the team order.
A two-layer block on a small label gives a merchandise line a mark that matches the signage, and the inset keeps it from looking flat.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 45 by 30 mm label: set the line name at 11 pt on one row, keep 4 mm of clear ground beneath before the size at 4 pt, and hold 3 mm from the outline to the label edge.
Pre-production check
At eleven points the inset fills in; print one label at the real size and check the inner shape before the order.
