Pixelated futuristic stencil display
Pixel Space is a pixelated display in white on a dark mountain landscape: wide capitals assembled from square blocks with stencil gaps where the segments meet, a flat top and bottom on every letter, and a lowercase-sized x-height that keeps the line horizontal.

Sturdy stroke walls and open counters weed cleanly on adhesive vinyl, HTV apparel film, and cut cardstock.
Visual anatomy & craft review
The word is set as one line across the top third, and the construction is a strict grid: every stem is a stack of equal squares, every curve is a staircase, and the joins between strokes are cut with a gap so the letters read as stencilled circuitry. The proportions are wide, with an M and a W that reach almost twice the width of an I, and the height is uniform, so the line reads as a strip of blocks rather than as a word with a rhythm. Because the grid is fixed, the face needs to be set at a multiple of the pixel unit to stay crisp, and the sample respects that by keeping every element on the same module. The ground is a black-and-white mountain landscape with a small astronaut figure, and the four caption blocks along the bottom are set in a tiny pixel cut, which shows the family includes a size for data.

Concrete hierarchy, scale and production guidance tailored to Pixel Space’s stroke geometry.
A pixel display signals software and play without the clichés of circuit boards, and the stencil gaps keep the mark readable when it is reduced to a favicon.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Set the name at 40 px on screen and 30 pt in print with the module kept whole, then build a 16 px favicon from a simplified two-letter mark. Keep the stroke module at least 2 px wide so the gaps survive downscaling.
Pre-production check
Check the favicon at 16 px, where the gaps can close entirely; switch to the simplified mark below 24 px. Confirm the mark holds on a dark interface and that the printed version at 30 pt does not show half pixels.
A pixelated display gives a technology feature a visual hook that a clean sans cannot, and the stencil construction reads as a diagram rather than as decoration.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Set the title at 96 pt across 180 mm on a dark page, the standfirst in a 10 pt grotesque beneath, and a 0.5 pt rule under the title. Keep the module consistent with the grid used for the page's charts so the whole layout feels engineered.
Pre-production check
Check the title at 96 pt on the printed page, where a stair-stepped edge can look like a resolution error; keep the module at least 4 mm. Confirm the 10 pt standfirst keeps a 4.5:1 contrast on the dark ground and reads at arm's length.
A pixel face makes a technology club look current to students without the institutional tone of a school poster, and the grid construction reads well on a screen or a banner.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print 900 by 500 mm: the club name at 120 mm wide, the meeting time in a 30 mm pixel cut, and a 10 mm block border on the same module. Keep the ink to two colours so the staircases stay sharp at the printer's resolution.
Pre-production check
Check the banner at full size, where a stair-stepped stroke can look like a ragged edge; keep the module at least 6 mm. Confirm the 30 mm time reads from six metres and that the border aligns with the same grid as the lettering.
Technical & licence verification
Confirm included OTF/TTF/WOFF formats, full glyph tables and licence coverage on the live store page before batch production.
