Cute dripping seasonal display
Monster Halloween is a cute dripping display in black and cream on orange: fat rounded letters with long drips hanging from the baseline, uneven heights and a bouncing baseline, with a bat and a ghost drawn in the same weight, so the plate reads as a friendly seasonal card.

Visual anatomy & craft review
The two lines are set in two inks, and each letter is drawn as a fat rounded form with drips that fall by different amounts, which gives the block its melt without any texture. The drips are thick rather than hairlines, so they survive at small sizes and on fabric, and the counters stay large so the words read at a distance. The bounce and the uneven heights keep the pair from looking mechanical, and the bat and the ghost at the sides are drawn in the same line weight, which is what ties the type to the illustration. A small tracked caption beneath states the category in a clean sans, so the plate keeps a single whimsical element rather than decorating the whole page.

Concrete hierarchy, scale and production guidance tailored to Monster Halloween’s stroke geometry.
A cute dripping face sets a friendly seasonal tone, and the thick drips read at card size where a hairline melt would break in a home print.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
A6 card: the phrase at 30 pt, the details in a 9 pt sans, and a small ghost at the foot. Keep 12 mm margins and print two inks on an orange card so the cream holds the shape of each drip.
Pre-production check
Check the 30 pt phrase, where a drip can merge with the line beneath; keep 6 mm of clear space. Confirm the 9 pt details keep a 4.5:1 contrast and that the ghost clears the trim.
A dripping graphic prints as one screen and reads as a seasonal shirt without a scary image, and the thick forms hold on fabric after washing.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 250 mm chest graphic: the phrase at 55 mm cap height, the age at 25 mm, and one ink on a light shirt. Keep the thinnest drip at 3 mm so the screen holds and place the graphic 80 mm below the collar.
Pre-production check
Check the screen at actual mesh, where a drip under 2 mm fills; thicken it. Wash-test one shirt and confirm the age stays legible after five cycles.
A cute dripping face attracts children without frightening them, and the heavy forms photocopy better than a textured horror display.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
A4 print: the headline at 48 mm cap height, the times in a 10 mm sans, and a 4 mm rule. Keep 20 mm margins and print two colours at the highest copier setting so the drips stay distinct.
Pre-production check
Check the A4 on a copier, where a drip can fill into the line below; keep 10 mm of clear space. Confirm the 10 mm times read at two metres and that the headline fits without wrapping.
