Sturdy stroke walls and open counters weed cleanly on adhesive vinyl, HTV apparel film, and cut cardstock.
Visual anatomy & craft review
Malaka Cournt is an ultra-heavy retro bubble display in caps with wide squishy 1970s letterforms, compressed teardrop counters and a low waistline that makes a word a mass of soft shapes. The counters are small, so the face needs roughly 35 mm to stay legible, and the weight is so heavy that it works best as a solid silhouette in one flat colour. It is a poster, packaging and apparel face, at its best in cream on a saturated ground or reversed out of a deep colour.

Concrete hierarchy, scale and production guidance tailored to Malaka Cournt’s stroke geometry.
Pillow bubbles read as 1970s packaging, which is the reference a small food or cosmetics brand borrows. The mass holds at 40 mm on a box lid where a lighter face would look thin.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Box 200 x 150 x 80 mm, word 44 mm on the lid, 25 mm margins. Label 90 x 110 mm, word 22 mm, 5 mm top arc. Tee print 280 x 160 mm, word 70 mm, 40 mm margins.
Pre-production check
Compressed teardrop counters under 3 mm close in a plastisol print and the word becomes a block. Keep the word at 70 mm, and approve a strike-off before the run.
Soft heavy forms fill a poster with one word, which is the fastest way to make a retro bill look deliberate. The silhouette survives cheap printing.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Poster A2, word 300 mm, details 22/28 pt, 30 mm margins and 20 mm trim. Flyer A5, word 120 mm, lineup 10/13 pt, 12 mm margins. Sleeve 312 x 312 mm, word 210 mm, credits 7 pt, 20 mm margins.
Pre-production check
A heavy fill at 300 mm on uncoated poster stock looks patchy where the ink sits unevenly. Print one poster on the intended stock, and add a second pass or a tint if the fill mottles.
Soft bubble forms read as a fairground sign, which suits a harvest fair better than a modern sans. The weight is legible from a car.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Sign 900 x 600 mm, word 170 mm, 60 mm margins and 25 mm clear of the frame. Label 70 x 95 mm, word 16 mm, 5 mm top arc and 4 mm die margin. Banner 1500 x 400 mm, word 240 mm, 100 mm margins.
Pre-production check
Fair signs face low sun and a cream word on a saturated ground loses contrast in backlight. Print one sign and view it against the sun before the fair opens.
