Sturdy stroke walls and open counters weed cleanly on adhesive vinyl, HTV apparel film, and cut cardstock.
Visual anatomy & craft review
Kids Bubble is an ultra-heavy bubble display in mixed case, with fat rounded ascenders, tiny slit counters and a marshmallow softness that comes from near-constant stroke width rather than from an outline. Because the counters are small and the shapes are closed, it reads as a plush object at 20 mm and as a solid silhouette at banner scale, and it is best filled with one colour or a simple vertical gradient. The lowercase carries the personality, so a word set in lowercase looks more like the specimen than the same word in capitals.

Plush closed shapes survive a screen print on a soft knit where a detailed face would break, and the 1970s warmth signals a retro childrenswear line without a mascot. The heavy weight reads at arm's length on a small chest print.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Chest print 180 x 100 mm, word 45 mm, 50 mm from the shoulder seam. Toy box lid 300 x 200 mm, word 70 mm, 25 mm margins. Tote panel 280 x 280 mm, word 60 mm, 25 mm to the seam.
Pre-production check
A soft knit stretches under a plastisol print and tiny slit counters close after the first wash. Open the counters slightly by tracking, print at 45 mm or above, and wash one sample before the run.
Round lowercase letters look like poured candy, which is the pin-sharp reference a retro second-birthday party wants. Heavy shapes can be cut from thick card and hung without wilting.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Banner letters 150 mm tall on 2 mm card, 4 mm hole, 30 mm margins and 40 mm pitch. Cup wrap 200 x 90 mm, word 18 mm, 10 mm from the rim. Card 148 x 105 mm, age 34 mm, greeting 8 mm.
Pre-production check
A banner cut from 2 mm card with a 4 mm hole will tear at the head after a couple of hangs. Punch with a 6 mm hole and reinforce the reverse with a paper patch, then hang one letter for a day.
Bubble letters read as a reward rather than an instruction, which is what a classroom sticker is for, and the heavy shapes stay legible on a 30 mm die. Plump forms are also easy for a child to colour inside.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Sticker 30 mm circle, word 5 mm, 2 mm die margin and 3 mm clear of the release cut. Name tag 60 x 30 mm, name 8 mm, 3 mm border, 4 mm from the corner radius. Sign 400 x 300 mm, word 70 mm on 30 mm margins, mounted at 1.4 m so a child can read it.
Pre-production check
Kiss-cut stickers with a heavy fill and a 2 mm margin peel badly if the fill bleeds past the die. Keep every glyph inside the die line, and pull one sticker off the backing before printing a class set.
