Visual anatomy & craft review
Lucky No. 4 is a handcrafted St Patrick's display in which the counters open as shamrock leaves: a firm hand-drawn stem, three-lobed counters on the o and the b, a small stem line at the foot and a slightly uneven contour. The shamrock counters are the design and close first when the face shrinks, and the hand-drawn edge is what gives it warmth. It needs roughly 30 mm for the shamrock counter and the hand edge to read, and it is best in one emerald ink on cream, or a single dark green on white where the leaves stay open.

A shamrock-counter display announces the day in the lettering itself, so the card needs no clip art. The leaves read at 28 mm, and one emerald ink prints the card, the banner and the glass tags in a single order.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Card A6, greeting 28 mm with 8 mm leaf clearance, note 8/11 pt, 12 mm margins. Banner 1200 x 400 mm, word 140 mm, 25 mm safe edge. Glass tag 40 x 90 mm, word 10 mm with a 4 mm hole and 8 mm clear.
Pre-production check
A 40 x 90 mm glass tag at 10 mm closes the shamrock into a dot and the word reads as a plain hand face. Raise the tag word to 16 mm, and print one tag before the batch.
A shamrock display separates a March birthday from the generic spring card, which is what a child born that week wants. The leaves cut cleanly at 40 mm, and one ink prints the invite and the wraps as one set.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Invite A6, word 40 mm with 8 mm leaf clearance, details 8/11 pt, 12 mm margins. Topper 130 x 110 mm, word 44 mm with a 6 mm stick slot and 12 mm clear. Cup wrap 200 x 90 mm, word 20 mm, 12 mm from the rim.
Pre-production check
A cup wrap printed across the taper doubles the shamrock counter at the seam and the word reads as a stripe. Keep the word inside the flat 60 mm centre band, and wrap one cup before the party.
A handcrafted shamrock display reads as a painted pub window rather than a corporate seasonal logo, which is what a small bar wants in March. The leaves hold at 40 mm on a mat, and one green ink prints the mat and the decal in one order.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Beer mat 95 mm square, word 14 mm with 5 mm leaf clearance, 5 mm die margin. Window decal 400 x 200 mm, word 90 mm, 20 mm edge clearance. Card 85 x 55 mm, word 12 mm, 5 mm margins.
Pre-production check
A 95 mm mat at 14 mm puts the shamrock against the die edge and the blade clips a leaf. Shift the word inside a 6 mm die margin, and print one mat before the order.
