Narrow solid college capitals
Legacy College is a narrow solid college block in cream on navy heather fabric: the word is arched over a straight second line, with a rule and a star closing the composition.

Sturdy stroke walls and open counters weed cleanly on adhesive vinyl, HTV apparel film, and cut cardstock.
Visual anatomy & craft review
Legacy is set on a curve that follows the chest of a garment, and College sits beneath it on a straight line at about two thirds the height. The letters are narrow for a varsity face — tall stems, small slab serifs and fairly open counters — which is what lets an eight-letter word arch without breaking the curve. The colour is an unbleached cream on a dark navy knit, and the texture of the fabric shows through the letters, so the specimen is honest about the material it is meant for. A rule with a single star closes the block. The face is for apparel and signage: the arch is a layout decision rather than a glyph, the narrow width keeps long school names on one line, and one-colour printing is the whole point.

Concrete hierarchy, scale and production guidance tailored to Legacy College’s stroke geometry.
The arch follows the chest of a garment and the narrow letters hold a long team name on one line, which is the format a hoodie actually needs.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 280 by 200 mm chest print: set the team name at 80 pt on an arch of about 15 degrees, keep 22 mm of clear ground beneath before the year at 26 pt, and hold 20 mm from the lowest letter to the seam.
Pre-production check
An arch distorts if it is scaled without redrawing; print one chest print on a spare shirt and check the curve before the team run.
A collegiate arch signals an institution without a logo, and the cream on navy holds at cover scale where a fine serif would disappear.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 210 by 297 mm cover: set the institution at 54 pt on an arch, keep 20 mm of clear ground beneath before the issue line at 18 pt, and hold 16 mm of margin on all sides.
Pre-production check
Narrow letters at cover size can look cramped in the arch; print one cover and check the spacing at the centre of the curve before the run.
The block forms read from a distance and a single colour keeps a field sign affordable for a school budget that rarely stretches to two inks.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print an 800 by 500 mm board: set the college name at 120 pt on one row, keep 30 mm of clear ground beneath before the field name at 24 pt, and hold 28 mm of border on all four sides.
Pre-production check
Slab serifs bloom at distance under floodlights; print one board and check it from twenty metres before the order.
