Sturdy stroke walls and open counters weed cleanly on adhesive vinyl, HTV apparel film, and cut cardstock.
Visual anatomy & craft review
Graffiti by clipartguru is a wildstyle display with interlocking arrow extensions, sharp bevels and bars that kick off the letters into neighbouring space, so a word reads as a piece painted on a wall rather than as a tag. The arrows extend the artwork box far beyond the letters, and the bevels need size to read as edges rather than as noise. It needs roughly 40 mm for the arrows to hold, and it is best in one dark ink with a white contour on a bright ground, or reversed out of black.

Wildstyle arrows read as a piece painted by the shop's own crew, which is what a skate shop sells. The heavy bevels survive a vinyl cut at 60 mm, and the arrow extensions give a short shop name movement that a clean logo cannot.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Sticker 90 x 60 mm, word 16 mm, 3 mm die margin with 5 mm clear of the arrows. Window vinyl 900 x 300 mm, word 150 mm, 60 mm margins. Tee print 280 x 160 mm, word 55 mm, 40 mm margins.
Pre-production check
A 90 mm sticker cannot hold the arrow extensions and the tips are cut by the die. Keep the word at 20 mm so the arrows stay inside the sticker, and weed one before the sheet.
Wildstyle lettering reads as a photographed piece turned into a cover, which is what a street-culture zine does. The arrows fill a cover without a background photograph, and one ink on cheap stock keeps a small run possible.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Cover 148 x 210 mm, title 60 mm with 12 mm arrow clearance, cover lines 8/11 pt, 12 mm margins. Opener 420 x 297 mm, headline 110 mm, body 9/13 pt. Flyer A5, word 70 mm, lineup 8/11 pt.
Pre-production check
Arrows extend past the type box and are trimmed when the cover is fitted to a template. Declare the true artwork box including the arrows, and check one proof with trim marks.
Wildstyle bars read as a city street party, which is what a Halloween block event prints on a wall. The arrows and bevels hold in white on black under street lighting, and the word stays legible at 260 mm from across the road.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Poster A2, word 260 mm with 15 mm arrow clearance, times 22/28 pt, 30 mm margins and 20 mm trim. Sign 900 x 400 mm, word 160 mm, 60 mm margins. Merch print 280 x 160 mm, word 60 mm, 40 mm margins.
Pre-production check
A white contour around a wildstyle word on a dark poster fills in the narrow gaps between arrows at 260 mm, and the piece becomes a white patch. Keep the gaps at 2 mm or print the contour as a separate keyline, and check one poster at 1:1.
