Sturdy stroke walls and open counters weed cleanly on adhesive vinyl, HTV apparel film, and cut cardstock.
Visual anatomy & craft review
Glitch Pixel is a sliced VHS scanline sans with RGB chromatic aberration: a blocky upright skeleton cut through by thin horizontal scanlines, plus offset cyan and magenta ghosts that read as a mis-tuned tape. The ghosts are the design and they turn into fringes when the face is scaled up or printed with a low line screen. It needs roughly 30 mm for the scanline and the ghost to read, and it is best as a flat three-colour print on coated stock, or one ink plus paper where the offsets read as knockouts and never as a halftone.

A glitch sans turns an electronic-music feature into its own tape sleeve. The scanlines hold at 72 pt on a coated cover, and three flat inks keep the ghosts crisp against a dark ground.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Cover 210 x 297 mm, title 72 pt with 12 mm ghost clearance, cover lines 10/14 pt over two columns of 82 mm, 18 mm margins and a 12 mm head. Opener 56 pt with 10 mm of clear ground. Section head 28 pt, 10 mm above and 6 mm below.
Pre-production check
At 28 pt on the section head the scanlines moiré against the halftone screen and the head reads as a wave. Keep the face on coated stock at 44 pt and above, and proof one spread at 1:1.
A glitch display announces a themed birthday through the lettering alone. The ghosts hold at 44 mm on an invite, and three flat inks print the invite and the wraps as one set.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Invite A6, word 44 mm with 10 mm ghost clearance, details 8/11 pt, 12 mm margins. Topper 130 x 110 mm, word 48 mm with a 6 mm stick slot and 12 mm clear. Cup wrap 200 x 90 mm, word 20 mm, 12 mm from the rim.
Pre-production check
A cup wrap printed across the taper shifts the ghost offsets at the seam and the word reads as a double image. Keep the word inside the flat 60 mm centre band, and wrap one cup before the party.
A glitch sans reads as a screen-based studio mark rather than a corporate logo. The scanlines hold at 26 mm on a card, and three flat inks print the card and the decal in one order.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Card 85 x 55 mm, word 26 mm with 8 mm ghost clearance, details 7/9 pt, 5 mm margins. Door decal 200 x 300 mm, word 60 mm, 20 mm margins. Sign 600 x 400 mm, word 90 mm, 25 mm margins.
Pre-production check
A 200 x 300 mm decal at 60 mm traps air in the scanline gaps and the vinyl lifts along the stripes. Use a wet-apply method, and apply one decal before the run.
