Broad capitals with thin inset strokes and blade-like lower curls
Glimore is a blackletter display face drawn with sharp diagonal joins, tall narrow capitals and a fine inner line, set tight enough that a word reads as a row of blades.

Visual anatomy & craft review
GLIMOBE spans the card in white over a dark portrait with a rose, and the letterforms are narrow and angular: the G breaks into a hooked shoulder, the M is built from four diagonals, and every stem ends in a cut diamond. A hairline runs inside each stem in places, which gives the letters a faceted look, and the spacing is tight enough that the word forms one mass with sharp edges. Two small numerals sit at either side of the composition and a caption at the foot names the face. The face belongs to the harder end of the blackletter range — closer to a metal logo than to a manuscript — and it works in one colour at poster size, where the tight spacing does not close into a solid block.

Concrete hierarchy, scale and production guidance tailored to Glimore’s stroke geometry.
The narrow blades set an occult mood at a glance, and the tight spacing makes a short event name read as a single mark on a dark wall.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print an A2 poster: set the event name at 130 pt on one row, keep 34 mm of clear ground beneath before the line-up at 13 pt, and hold 26 mm of margin so the diamond feet stay inside the trim.
Pre-production check
Tight spacing closes into a block at small sizes; print one poster at the final size and check the gap between the M and the I before the run.
The face gives a bottle the silhouette of a record sleeve, and the narrow letters fit a short brand name across a label that offers very little width.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 55 by 90 mm label: set the brand name at 20 pt on one row, keep 8 mm of clear ground beneath before the strength at 4.5 pt, and hold 5 mm from the letter edge to the die line.
Pre-production check
The hairline inside the stems disappears on a small label; print one label on the real stock and check a stem before the order.
The narrow capitals hold a long foreign title in one column, which is what a translated classic usually needs, and the sharp joins give the jacket a period edge.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 129 by 198 mm cover: set the title at 46 pt across three rows, keep 18 mm of clear ground beneath before the translator credit at 9.5 pt, and hold 13 mm from the widest letter to the spine edge.
Pre-production check
Three rows of a tight face can merge into a texture; print one cover and read the title at thumbnail size before the print run.
