Modern signature script paired with a minimal sans in wide capitals
Frandy pairs a modern signature script with a minimal sans in wide-tracked capitals, so one lockup carries a personal mark and a quiet structural label beneath it.

Visual anatomy & craft review
The script half is a connected signature with a heavy first stroke that lightens as it travels: the capital F opens as a broad sweeping stem, the r and the a stay open and the y drops a long curved descender that runs below the second line of the sample. Weight is uneven by design, heavier at the start and finer toward the exit, which is what gives the face its signed quality. The sans half is a plain capital face with even strokes and wide tracking, and it carries the supporting lines at small sizes without competing. Together the pair reads as a signature over a printed label, which is how most personal-brand stationery is built. The photograph behind, the cream inks and the four small lines of caption are presentation; the duo is the lettering.

Concrete hierarchy, scale and production guidance tailored to Frandy’s stroke geometry.
The signature carries the names and the tracked caps carry the details, so one suite reads as personal and structured at the same time.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Set both names in the script at 28 pt on a 120 by 180 mm card, set the details in the tracked caps at 9 pt, and hold 16 mm between the names and the details block.
Pre-production check
A signature with a long descender will collide with the details; check the proof at final size and lift the names rather than shortening the tail.
The signature works as a name mark on a card while the tracked caps carry the service lines, which is exactly what a solo studio needs at 16 pt.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Set the studio name in the script at 16 pt on a 90 by 50 mm card, set the services in the tracked caps at 6 pt, and leave 10 mm of clearance around the mark.
Pre-production check
A heavy opening stroke can dominate a small card; check the proof and reduce the script's size rather than the tracking of the caps.
The signature gives a cover credit a human voice, and the tracked caps keep the issue details legible underneath at 18 pt across a dark image.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Set the byline in the script at 18 pt in the lower third of the cover, set the issue line in the tracked caps at 8 pt, and leave 14 mm of clear image beneath the descender.
Pre-production check
A light exit stroke over a bright area disappears; check the printed cover and move the byline onto the darker part of the image.
