Broad athletic blocks with scraped fill and a dark outer edge
Flash Jersey sets a white upper row above an orange lower one on a dark sport collage: broad slab feet and clipped bowls make the title dense, irregular horizontal scrapes remove chunks of the fill and a thin pale separation with a dark outer edge adds another boundary.

Sturdy stroke walls and open counters weed cleanly on adhesive vinyl, HTV apparel film, and cut cardstock.
Visual anatomy & craft review
The blocks stay broad, the feet spread, horizontal scrapes tear the fill in ragged bands, and the pale separation plus dark edge build two outlines around each letter. The scraped fill is the character: the wear runs across the letter in one direction, which is why the sample sets two rows at different colours. Because the scrapes are irregular, keep 34 pt so no stroke disappears, and check personalisation separately since the numbers are not shown. The speed marks and number silhouette are cover design.

The scraped blocks read on fabric, and the dark edge holds the name together at 80 mm across a printed chest. The dark edge holds the scraped blocks together on fabric.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 300 mm chest print: set the upper row at 80 mm and the lower at 62 mm, keep 16 mm between the rows, and keep every scrape at 3 mm minimum so the fill does not split. Keep the player number on a separate row.
Pre-production check
A scrape thinner than 2 mm closes on a screen print; check the film at full size and widen the scrape rather than the block.
The broad slabs suit a painted stand, and the pale separation keeps the two rows distinct at 60 mm on a board in two colours. The pale separation keeps two painted rows apart.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Paint a 600 by 250 mm board: set the upper row at 60 mm and the lower at 48 mm, keep 20 mm between the rows, and keep 26 mm of border so the dark edge stays inside the frame and the scrapes keep their full length.
Pre-production check
Two rows painted closer than 12 mm lose the pale separation; check the mask and open the gap to 18 mm. Check the mask before the second coat.
The edged blocks give a gym label impact, and the slab feet stay solid at 20 pt on a 55 mm panel in two inks. The slab feet keep a small panel strong.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 55 by 35 mm label: set the name at 20 pt, keep the dark edge at 1 mm, and set the class type in a 6 pt mono beneath with 4 mm of clear ground. Keep the mono line at the foot of the label.
Pre-production check
Scrapes printed at 18 pt read as damage rather than texture; check the plate proof and use the unbroken block below 24 pt.
