Tall simple connected pen strokes with a flat baseline and a light weight
Father Holiday is simple connected handwriting with tall ascenders, a light even stroke and a flat baseline, so a two-word phrase reads as an ordinary pen signature.

Visual anatomy & craft review
The capital F opens as a tall stem with a short arm and no loop, and the letters after it stay narrow: the a closes a small bowl, the t is crossed with a straight bar, the h and the r rise into plain stems, the o closes loosely and the l and the y keep the same thin weight. The stroke is a consistent monoline, joins cross low and the letters stay upright rather than slanted, which is what gives the phrase its plain, everyday quality. Nothing tapers to a point and nothing is contrasted, so a word set at 16 pt still reads as writing rather than as ornament. The washed photograph of running figures behind, the black ink and the two tracked captions are presentation; the lettering is the two words.

Concrete hierarchy, scale and production guidance tailored to Father Holiday’s stroke geometry.
The plain pen hand reads as something written by a person rather than a brand, and the light even stroke keeps a short message warm at small sizes.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Set the message at 16 pt on a 105 by 148 mm card, keep the sender in the same face at 9 pt, and leave the lower third of the card clear for a handwritten line.
Pre-production check
A light monoline printed on textured card can break; print one card on the actual stock and raise the size to 18 pt if the joins thin out.
The unornamented hand suits a card that has to feel personal rather than designed, and the tall ascenders keep a short greeting visible at 20 pt.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Set the greeting at 20 pt on a 148 by 105 mm card, keep the date in a 7 pt sans beneath it, and leave 14 mm of margin so the tall stems stay inside the trim.
Pre-production check
A plain hand can read as a placeholder if printed too small; check the proof at final size and keep the greeting at 20 pt or above.
The everyday hand thanks a customer without flourish, and the even weight keeps the note legible on a small card that is read once.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Set the message at 15 pt on a 90 by 55 mm card, keep the order number in a 6 pt sans at the foot, and leave 8 mm at the base so the descenders clear the edge.
Pre-production check
Cards in a parcel rub against contents; print on a heavier stock and check that the thin stroke does not scuff in transit.
