Sturdy stroke walls and open counters weed cleanly on adhesive vinyl, HTV apparel film, and cut cardstock.
Visual anatomy & craft review
Chakord Pixel is a stair-stepped eight-bit arcade pixel display: every stroke is built from square cells on a fixed grid, with hard diagonal steps, chunky caps and no anti-aliased curves at all. The grid is the design, so the face must be set on an even multiple of the cell size or the steps break into uneven runs. The corners are the finest element and they crumble when the face is scaled off-grid. It needs roughly 32 mm for the cell to read as a pixel, and it is best one bright ink on a dark ground.

A pixel display makes a gaming birthday look built rather than bought. The grid holds at 44 mm on a topper, and one vinyl colour covers the topper and the invite print.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Invite A6, word 44 mm set on an 8 mm cell, details 8/11 pt, 12 mm margins. Topper 130 x 110 mm, word 48 mm on an 8 mm cell with a 6 mm stick slot and 12 mm clear. Cup wrap 200 x 90 mm, word 20 mm, 12 mm from the rim.
Pre-production check
A 130 mm vinyl topper at a cell under 6 mm has steps that weld shut during weeding and the word fills to a block. Keep the cell at 8 mm, and weed one topper before the party.
A pixel display gives a games feature a title built from cells rather than a styled heading. The grid holds at 72 pt on an opener, and the same cell size sets the section heads.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Opener 210 x 297 mm, title 72 pt on a 12 pt cell with 16 mm clearance, standfirst 11/15 pt, body 9/13 pt over two columns of 82 mm, 18 mm margins. Section head 34 pt on the same cell.
Pre-production check
At 34 pt on an off-grid cell the steps split into uneven runs and the head reads as noise. Lock the head to the same cell as the title, and proof one spread at 1:1.
A pixel face reads as a printed arcade poster rather than a modern flyer. The grid holds at 100 mm on a poster, and two bright inks print the poster and the stickers in one order.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Poster A2, word 100 mm on a 20 mm cell, details 32 mm, 20 mm margins. Token 40 mm round, word 8 mm on a 2 mm cell, 3 mm die margin. Sticker 90 x 60 mm, word 24 mm, 5 mm die margin.
Pre-production check
On a 40 mm token at an 8 mm cell the word runs past the die line and gets cut. Keep the token to two letters, and punch one token before the batch.
