Centul Spooky is a whimsical gothic display with spiral hooks on the ascenders, a bouncy mixed-case rhythm and rounded serifs that keep the reference friendly rather than menacing. The letterforms read as a storybook haunted house rather than a horror poster: the counters stay open, the stems are medium weight, and the curls sit above the cap line where they can be trimmed off by a careless crop. It needs roughly 20 mm for the spirals to resolve, and it works best in a single cream colour against a dark ground, which is how the specimen presents it.
