Mixed-case collegiate blocks with chamfered bowls and low square feet
Campus shows large white mixed-case lettering on navy: the a closes a squared bowl, the m repeats deep upright channels and the p drops below the baseline onto a heavy rectangular foot, so the row reads as a varsity title written in lowercase.

Sturdy stroke walls and open counters weed cleanly on adhesive vinyl, HTV apparel film, and cut cardstock.
Visual anatomy & craft review
The bowls square off with chamfered corners, the stems stay uniform and deep, the descender finishes flat and the channels between uprights run narrow. The lowercase collegiate setting is the character: most athletic faces stop at capitals, and this one carries a mixed case row, which is why the cover pairs it with crest decoration. Because the channels are narrow, keep 32 pt before they close, and confirm the actual case mapping in the file rather than assuming a lowercase cut from the cover.

The mixed case gives a shirt a modern varsity look, and the squared bowls stay solid at 75 mm across a printed chest. The chamfered corners also keep the blocks from looking like plain rectangles.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 300 mm chest print: set the name at 75 mm in mixed case, keep every channel at 4 mm minimum, and keep 40 mm of clear shirt beneath for the founding year. Keep the year small and plain.
Pre-production check
A chamfered bowl under 3 mm fills in on a screen; check the film at full size and keep the name at 60 mm or above.
The collegiate blocks read across a lawn, and the deep channels hold a two-word title at 50 mm on a printed banner. The lowercase setting also keeps an alumni banner modern.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 1200 by 600 mm banner: set the title at 50 mm, keep 28 mm from the welded edge on each side, and set the schedule in a 14 mm condensed caps on a plain lower band. Keep the year off the title row.
Pre-production check
Mixed case set over a busy crest loses the descenders; check the banner and keep the title on a clear area. Ask for a proof at full banner size.
The squared blocks suit a shop label, and the chamfered bowls stay clear at 20 pt on a 55 mm panel in two inks. The squared bowls also keep a small label crisp.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 55 by 35 mm label: set the shop name at 20 pt, keep 5 mm of border so the square feet are not trimmed, and set the department in a 6 pt caps beneath with 4 mm of clear ground.
Pre-production check
A lowercase athletic face may not carry the numerals a label needs; set any digits on a proof before the run. Set the digits on the proof, not after printing.
