Visual anatomy & craft review
Bagoimena is a fluid slanted signature script that finishes a word with an open heart terminal, so a name reads as a written flourish with a valentine built into its last stroke. The heart sits at the exit, which means it needs space after the word, and the even slant keeps it legible at 14 mm on a card. It needs roughly 22 mm for the heart to read as a heart, and it is best in white on a warm portrait ground or in one dark ink on cream.

A signature script that ends in a heart gives a wedding name a declaration without a printed motif, which is what a small ceremony wants. The even slant holds a long surname at 26 mm, and the heart closes the name on the right.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Invitation 130 x 180 mm, names 26 mm with 12 mm heart clearance, details 9/13 pt, 15 mm margins. Place card 90 x 50 mm, name 9 mm on an 11 pt leading. Sign 600 x 900 mm, names 90 mm, 25 mm frame clearance.
Pre-production check
The heart exits to the right and gets trimmed when the card is cut from a parent sheet. Keep 12 mm of clear card beyond the heart, and check one cut card before the suite.
A heart-tailed signature reads as a personal mark from someone who makes things by hand, which is what a small studio prints on a box. The even stroke foils and plots at 12 mm, and the heart gives a short brand name its identity without a graphic.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Label 70 x 45 mm, name 12 mm with 8 mm heart clearance, 4 mm die margin. Box 160 x 120 x 40 mm, word 26 mm on the lid, 18 mm margins. Card 85 x 55 mm, name 9 mm, 5 mm margins.
Pre-production check
A 12 mm label puts the heart on the die edge and the flourish is cut. Position the name from the heart rather than the baseline, and check one applied label before the batch.
A heart terminal is the whole message, which is what a valentine card needs without an illustration. The even stroke prints in one ink on cream, and the heart closes a short phrase at 24 mm on a card.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Card 120 x 170 mm, greeting 24 mm with 12 mm heart clearance, message 8/12 pt, 14 mm margins. Print 210 x 297 mm, greeting 55 mm, 30 mm margins and 20 mm trim. Tag 45 x 80 mm, word 9 mm with a 4 mm hole and 6 mm clear card.
Pre-production check
A 45 mm tag puts the heart next to the punched hole and the card tears on the string. Move the punch to the left of the word, and check one strung tag before the batch.
