Spooky serif with pointed terminals
Witchy Halloween is a decorative serif in gold on a dark red wall: heavy letters with pointed serifs and small spurs, softened by a bevel that catches light along the top edge, set as two stacked words with bats in the corners.

Sturdy stroke walls and open counters weed cleanly on adhesive vinyl, HTV apparel film, and cut cardstock.
Visual anatomy & craft review
Two words are stacked and the face is a decorative serif with a period feel: the stems are heavy, the serifs end in points rather than flats, small spurs grow out of the joins on the W and the H, the O is a narrow oval with pointed sides, and the letters are spaced evenly so the block reads as two calm lines rather than a jumble. A bevel runs along the top of every stroke, which gives the gold a cast-metal look without a second colour, and that bevel is what separates the face from a plain serif at poster size. Around the block a dark red wall is textured with streaks and stains, and a few small bats are drawn at the upper corners. The palette is gold and orange on deep red, with nothing else on the page. Witchy Halloween is a decorative face for seasonal posters, packaging, invitations and event graphics, and it needs one or two short words at a large size and a dark ground.

Concrete hierarchy, scale and production guidance tailored to Witchy Halloween’s stroke geometry.
A gilded spooky serif reads across a dark room and looks printed rather than drawn, which suits an evening with low light.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 420 by 594 mm poster: set the title at 120 pt over two lines, keep 34 mm of clear ground beneath before the date at 22 pt, and hold 24 mm of margin on all four sides.
Pre-production check
A bevel printed on a dark ground can look flat; proof one sheet and check the highlight at the final size.
A decorative serif with pointed terminals sets the genre, and the bevel gives a cover depth without an illustration behind the type.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 152 by 229 mm cover: set the title at 48 pt over two lines, keep 20 mm of clear ground beneath before the editor at 10 pt, and hold 14 mm of margin on all four sides.
Pre-production check
Pointed serifs can break on uncoated stock; print one cover on the intended paper and check the tips.
A spooky serif gives a seasonal bottle a period identity, and the gilded face stays readable on a label narrow enough to wrap a bottle.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 55 by 90 mm label: set the brand at 16 pt on one line, keep 6 mm of clear ground beneath before the strength at 4.5 pt, and hold 4 mm of margin on all four sides.
Pre-production check
Gold on dark in a small label can turn brown; print one on the real stock and judge the colour in the hand.
