Visual anatomy & craft review
Wedding is a tall-looped bouncy bridal script with long horizontal wing tails: high double ascenders, a light contrast stroke, a soft bounce and tails that run horizontally well past the word on both sides. The wings need side clearance in any centred layout and they are the first thing to be trimmed. It needs roughly 26 mm for the loop and the wing to read, and it is best in one warm ink on smooth ivory, or a foil impression above 38 pt where the wing keeps its taper.

Concrete hierarchy, scale and production guidance tailored to Wedding’s stroke geometry.
A bridal script with long wings gives an invitation the gesture of a hand-drawn flourish rather than a plate. The wings hold at 28 pt, and one warm ink on smooth ivory prints the suite in one order.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Invitation 130 x 180 mm, names 28 pt with 14 mm wing clearance, details 9/13 pt, 18 mm margins. Seating chart 400 x 600 mm, names 16 mm, 24 mm margins. Menu 120 x 210 mm, header 16 pt, courses 9/12 pt.
Pre-production check
A 400 x 600 mm chart at 16 mm drops the wing under 0.2 mm and the flourish prints as a broken thread. Keep the chart at 20 mm or print digitally on smooth stock, and proof one chart before the set.
A wing-tailed script carries the gesture of a February card without a printed heart. The wings hold at 24 pt on a card, and one warm ink prints the card, the band and the sleeve from one file.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Card A6, greeting 24 pt with 12 mm wing clearance, note 8/11 pt, 14 mm margins. Ribbon band 200 x 30 mm, word 9 mm, 5 mm margins. Sleeve 160 x 80 mm, word 18 mm, 8 mm margins.
Pre-production check
On a 200 x 30 mm band the wing doubles at the fold and reads as a knot in the thread. Keep the band to one word in the plain cut, and wrap one bar before the order.
A wing-tailed script reads as the atelier's own hand rather than a wordmark, which is what a bridal studio wants on its packaging. The wings hold at 24 mm on a band, and one ink prints the band and the tag in one pass.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Tissue band 300 x 60 mm, word 24 mm with 12 mm wing clearance, 6 mm margins. Hang tag 50 x 90 mm, word 12 mm with a 4 mm hole and 14 mm clear. Card 85 x 55 mm, word 16 mm, 5 mm margins.
Pre-production check
On a 50 x 90 mm hang tag the wing runs into the punched hole and the cord cuts the letter. Shift the hole 14 mm clear or raise the word to 16 mm, and test one tag before the order.
