Visual anatomy & craft review
Wedding Nayla is a modern wedding calligraphy script with sweeping lead-in and end tails: a light-to-medium contrast, a wide oval axis, a modest slant and tails that extend well past the word on both sides. The tails mean a centred layout needs side clearance, and the hairlines are the first thing to break on textured stock. It needs roughly 24 mm for the lead-in and the tail to read, and it is best in one warm ink on smooth ivory, or a foil impression above 38 pt where the tail can still carry.

Sweeping lead-in tails make a calligraphy script read as a drawn line rather than a typed name, which is what a modern wedding wants. The tails hold at 28 pt, and one ink on smooth ivory prints the invitation, the menu and the chart in one order.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Invitation 130 x 180 mm, names 28 pt with 12 mm tail clearance, details 9/13 pt, 15 mm margins. Menu 120 x 210 mm, header 16 pt, courses 9/12 pt. Seating chart 400 x 600 mm, names 12 mm, 20 mm margins.
Pre-production check
A 12 mm seating-chart name drops the hairline tail under 0.2 mm and the names print as broken threads. Keep the chart at 16 mm or print digitally on smooth stock, and proof one chart before the set.
A sweeping calligraphy script gives a February card the gesture without a printed heart, which is what a restrained sender wants. The tail holds at 24 pt on a card, and one warm ink prints the card, the band and the sleeve from one file.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Card A6, greeting 24 pt with 10 mm tail clearance, note 8/11 pt, 12 mm margins. Ribbon band 200 x 30 mm, word 9 mm, 5 mm margins. Sleeve 160 x 80 mm, word 18 mm, 8 mm margins.
Pre-production check
On a 20 mm ribbon the tail doubles at the fold and reads as a knot on the thread. Keep the band to one word in the plain cut, and wrap one bar before the order.
A sweeping script reads as the atelier's own hand rather than a wordmark, which is what a bridal studio wants on its packaging. The lead-in holds at 24 mm on a band, and one ink prints the band and the tag in one pass.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Tissue band 300 x 60 mm, word 24 mm with 10 mm tail clearance, 6 mm margins. Hang tag 50 x 90 mm, word 12 mm with a 4 mm hole and 12 mm clear. Card 85 x 55 mm, word 16 mm, 5 mm margins.
Pre-production check
On a 50 x 90 mm hang tag at 12 mm the tail runs into the punched hole and the cord cuts the letter. Shift the hole 12 mm clear or raise the word to 16 mm, and test one tag before the order.
