Looped modern script with a returning swash
Sophia is a looped modern script in black over a pale seascape: wide open bowls, tall capitals with full loops, and a swash that returns beneath the word from the final letter.

Visual anatomy & craft review
Sophia fills the card in one word, and the script is drawn with generous loops: the S opens into two full loops, the o and the p are wide, the h and the i carry tall ascenders and the final a runs out into a swash that sweeps to the right, turns down and returns beneath the whole word before lifting. The stroke is an even monoline with a slight swell on the curves, and the joins are slack enough that the word reads as written rather than as drawn. The ground is a pale photograph of sea and sky with a figure in the distance, so the lettering is the only strong shape, and two tracked captions at the top and foot name the style and the studio. The face is a modern script for invitations, packaging and marks: the returning swash needs clear space below the baseline and a wide measure on both sides.

Concrete hierarchy, scale and production guidance tailored to Sophia’s stroke geometry.
A looped script with a returning swash gives a couple's names a drawn underline without a rule, and the wide bowls stay readable at a card size.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 130 by 180 mm invitation: set the names at 28 pt on one row, keep 22 mm of clear ground beneath so the swash clears the venue line at 9 pt, and hold 18 mm of margin.
Pre-production check
The returning swash can cross the detail line; print one invitation at the finished size and check the clearance before the suite.
A looped script is the conventional language of a valentine, and the returning swash gives a one-word card a finished composition.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 120 by 120 mm square card: set the word at 40 pt on one row, keep 18 mm of clear ground beneath before the message, and hold 14 mm of margin so the swash stays inside.
Pre-production check
A large swash on a small square leaves little room; print one card at the finished size and check the balance before the batch.
The loops read as a hand-written label at a small size, and the even stroke survives the reduction that a bottle label forces.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 45 by 80 mm label: set the brand at 15 pt on one row, keep 7 mm of clear ground beneath so the swash clears the volume at 4.5 pt, and hold 4 mm of margin on all sides.
Pre-production check
The swash runs off a narrow label; print one at the real size and check both ends before the order.
