Visual anatomy & craft review
Violyn Wedding Thivoria is a grand copperplate calligraphy with multi-looped capitals: a steep slope, high thin-thick contrast, capitals that loop two or three times and hairline exits that end in a flourish. The loops add height and width to the first letter, and the hairlines are the first thing to break on textured stock. It needs roughly 30 mm for the loops and the hairline to read, and it is best in one fine ink on smooth card, or a foil impression above 40 pt where the loops still turn.

A multi-looped copperplate gives a formal wedding an engraved invitation rather than a printed one. The loops hold at 30 pt, and hairline exits let a long name run without gaps on smooth card.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Invitation 130 x 180 mm, names 30 pt with 16 mm loop clearance, details 9/13 pt, 18 mm margins. Seating chart 400 x 600 mm, names 20 mm, 24 mm margins. Menu 120 x 210 mm, header 16 pt, courses 9/12 pt.
Pre-production check
A 400 x 600 mm chart at 20 mm drops the hairline under 0.2 mm and the names print as broken threads. Keep the chart at 24 mm or print digitally on smooth stock, and proof one chart before the set.
A grand copperplate carries the gesture of a February card without a printed heart. The loops hold at 28 pt, and one fine ink prints the card, the seal and the sleeve from one file.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Card A6, greeting 28 pt with 14 mm loop clearance, note 8/11 pt, 14 mm margins. Seal label 38 mm round, monogram 22 mm, 3 mm die margin. Gift sleeve 160 x 80 mm, word 18 mm, 10 mm margins.
Pre-production check
A 38 mm seal at a 22 mm monogram fills the loops into a solid disc and the initial is lost under wax. Use an initial alone on seals, and pour one seal before the batch.
A copperplate script reads as an engraved mark rather than a wordmark, which is what a bridal atelier wants on its packaging. The hairlines hold at 24 mm, and the loops widen the mark without a separate ornament.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Card 85 x 55 mm, word 24 mm with 12 mm loop clearance, details 7/9 pt, 8 mm margins. Tissue band 300 x 60 mm, word 20 mm, 10 mm margins. Box seal 40 mm round, monogram 22 mm, 3 mm die margin.
Pre-production check
A 300 x 60 mm band at 20 mm creases through the loops and the name reads as a smear. Keep the word off the fold line, and wrap one box before the run.
