Pointed copper-style script with fine looping connectors and deep descenders
Artistic Script is a pointed copper-style calligraphy in which the downstrokes narrow to a point, the connectors thin to hairlines, the A reaches far to the left and the p drops deep below the line, so a name reads as engraved pen work.

Visual anatomy & craft review
The A opens a long left entry, the t bar sweeps right across the neighbouring letters, the p falls far below the baseline and every connector thins before the next stem thickens, keeping a steady slant. The extreme descenders are the character: a two-line setting needs real space between the rows, which is why the sample shows the p passing under the second line. Because the hairlines are fine, the face wants 20 pt in print and the joins weld into one path before cutting from 0.85 inches of letter height; swashes are encoded. The pale ground and the small caption are presentation; the dark calligraphic name is the face.

Concrete hierarchy, scale and production guidance tailored to Artistic Script’s stroke geometry.
The pointed pen gives an invitation its formality, and the fine connectors keep a double name readable at 26 pt on heavy card.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 130 by 180 mm card: set the names at 26 pt, keep 22 mm beneath for the p descender, and set the venue at 9 pt in a neutral serif in the lower third.
Pre-production check
A deep descender printed into a venue line collides with it; check the proof and keep 18 mm of clear ground under the baseline.
The engraved tone suits a small label, and the pointed strokes stay clear at 18 pt on a 36 mm panel printed in one flat ink.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 36 by 60 mm label: set the house name at 18 pt, keep 6 mm from each die edge so the entry stroke stays whole, and set the volume in a 6 pt caps at the foot.
Pre-production check
A hairline join at 14 pt breaks on an uncoated label; check the proof and keep the name at 16 pt or above.
The pen flow suits a folded note, and the even slant keeps a short line personal at 30 pt on a folded cream sheet of card.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 105 by 148 mm folded card: set the line at 30 pt near the head, keep the fold 55 mm below the baseline, and leave the lower half blank for a written message.
Pre-production check
A fold scored through a descender cracks the printed surface; check the imposed card and keep 10 mm between score and stroke.
