Contrasting serif with interlaced loops
Thayang is a contrasting serif in cream over a dark portrait: narrow stems with sharp serifs and oversized loops that leave the first letter and the last and interlace across both words, with four small corner notes and two stars set inside the composition.

Crisp hairline serifs shine on stationery, foil stamping, and packaging; add slight offset for small decals.
Visual anatomy & craft review
The two words are stacked and the drawing is a display serif whose loops are the structure: a loop rises from the H and curls over the second line, another leaves the s and closes beneath, and the two interlace, so the block reads as one drawn object. That construction demands room, which the plate supplies by keeping the two words short and the sheet wide, and it demands a large size, which the specimen provides. The corner notes are tiny tracked caps and they name the studio and the style, and the two stars are small ornaments set inside the composition. Because the joins are hairlines, the face works on smooth stock at display sizes, and the dark portrait behind it is a contrast test that the cream passes.

An interlaced serif gives a formal invitation a drawn flourish that no second ornament can supply, which keeps the suite to one typeface.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
A5 invitation: the names at 26 pt with the loops engaged, the request in a 9.5 pt serif, and the date at 8.5 pt caps. Keep 28 mm margins and foil one colour on a deep card.
Pre-production check
Check the 26 pt names in foil, where a thin loop can break; keep it above 0.3 mm. Confirm the 9.5 pt request reads at arm's length and that the loops clear the trim by 14 mm.
An interlaced serif reads as fragrance, and the drawn loops give a short name a signature that holds on a box and a bag.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Set the mark at 20 pt on a box, 90 mm on a bag and 13 pt on a card, keeping the loops only above 22 pt. Keep one colour and reserve clear space equal to the loop height.
Pre-production check
Check the 13 pt card mark, where a loop can close the line above; drop it at that size. Confirm the bag mark reads at four metres and that the loops stay inside the panel.
An interlaced serif gives a poetry cover movement, and the loops let two short words fill a cover without an illustration.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Set the title at 90 mm cap height across 210 mm, the author in an 11 pt serif, and the imprint at 8 pt. Print one ink on a coated stock and keep the loops clear of the author line.
Pre-production check
Check the title at 90 mm, where a loop can collide with the author line; keep 14 mm clear. Confirm the 8 pt imprint survives lamination and that the loops clear the trim.
