Broad capitals with overlapping circles and waving cross-strokes
Casper Roomer is a broad capital serif in which the bowls are drawn as near-circles, the letters overlap at the joins and the cross-strokes wave slightly, so a word reads as a hand-cut display mark rather than as set type.

Sturdy stroke walls and open counters weed cleanly on adhesive vinyl, HTV apparel film, and cut cardstock.
Visual anatomy & craft review
The C opens as a wide circle with a fine tail, the A carries a waved crossbar and a hairline left stroke, the S reverses through two circular bowls that touch, and the R finishes its leg in a soft curve, all at a moderate weight with high contrast and generous width. The overlap is the character: adjacent bowls share a contour, which is what makes a short word read as a single drawn object at 70 pt. Because the joins are fine, the face wants 24 pt minimum on coated stock and belongs on covers and signs rather than on captions. The warm photograph, the cream ink, the small corner labels are presentation; the serif is the two words.

Concrete hierarchy, scale and production guidance tailored to Casper Roomer’s stroke geometry.
The overlapping circles give a cover an editorial gesture at 70 pt, and the waving cross-strokes keep it from reading as a cold didone.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print an A4 cover: set the title at 70 pt across the upper half, set the standfirst in a 10 pt serif beneath, and keep 18 mm of margin so the widest bowls stay inside the trim.
Pre-production check
Overlapping bowls can merge into a mass on a dark ground; check the cover with the image in place and keep the title on a plain band.
The circular construction reads at 15 cm on a studio wall, and the fine joins give a sign the look of drawn lettering rather than vinyl type.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 700 by 300 mm panel: set the studio name at 15 cm, set the discipline lines in a 4 cm sans beneath, and keep 8 cm of border so the widest bowls stay clear of the frame and the fixings.
Pre-production check
A fine join under 1 mm at 15 cm reads as a gap; check the panel at two metres and thicken the join rather than the stems.
The broad circles give a small label a composed mark, and the contrast still reads at 13 pt on a coated label at retail distance.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 55 by 85 mm coated label: set the brand at 13 pt, set the vintage in a 5 pt caps serif beneath, and keep 6 mm of margin so the widest bowl sits on the flat of the label rather than on the bottle curve.
Pre-production check
A curved label distorts a circular bowl visibly; check one labelled bottle and keep the word inside the flat central band.
