of Snowalora.
Snowalora is a festive display serif in which the serifs and terminals open into small snowflake stars: the stems are clean and high-contrast, the flakes sit on the crossbars and the ascenders finish with a six-point star. The flakes are the finest element, so they vanish before the letters do, and the high contrast needs a smooth stock. It needs roughly 30 mm for the flake points to read, and it is best in one deep ink on white or pale blue, or a fine silver foil above 40 pt where the flake edges stay crisp.
