Clipped-corner block display
Remidle is a tall block display in cream on navy: capitals with clipped corners, small vertical slot counters, an even heavy stroke and squared terminals, set as one word across the full width with a small line above and three credits spread along the foot.

Sturdy stroke walls and open counters weed cleanly on adhesive vinyl, HTV apparel film, and cut cardstock.
Visual anatomy & craft review
The word fills the plate and the drawing is a block capital face with the corners cut off: the clipping gives an industrial, modular reading, the counters are narrow vertical slots, and the stroke is even, so the block reads as a stencil cut by machine rather than as a drawn face. That construction sets a moderate size floor, because the slots close first, and the clipping means the face needs clean reproduction rather than a heavy texture. The small line above and the three credits along the foot are product copy that name the style, the studio and the licence. Because the letters are tall and squared, the face suits a poster, a sign and a package, and it holds a long word across a narrow format.

A clipped block face reads as a machine-made bill, and the narrow slots hold on a dark poster seen from a queue. The blocks read as machine-cut work.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
A1 poster: the night at 220 mm cap height, the date in a 24 mm sans, and the door at 12 mm. Keep 28 mm margins and print two colours on a dark stock with the type reversed out.
Pre-production check
Check the A1 at six metres, where a slot can close; keep it above 5 mm. Confirm the 12 mm door reads at two metres and that the date clears the block on both sides.
A clipped block label reads as hardware, and the heavy stroke survives a small die where a fine face would fail. It reads as hardware on a small die.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 60 by 40 mm label: the brand at 12 pt, the model at 7.5 pt, and two colours on a coated stock. Keep 4 mm inside the die and keep the slots above 0.6 mm.
Pre-production check
Check the 12 pt brand on a small die, where a slot can fill; keep it above 0.6 mm. Confirm the 7.5 pt model reads at arm's length and that the label survives a solvent wipe.
A clipped block title fills a cover with one word, and the even stroke holds at thumbnail size on a shelf. It fills the width in one word.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Set the title at 100 mm cap height across 200 mm, the subtitle in an 8.5 pt sans, and the year at 7 pt. Print two colours on a matte stock and keep 20 mm margins at the head.
Pre-production check
Check the title at 100 mm, where a clipped corner can look like damage; keep it deliberate. Confirm the 7 pt year survives lamination and that the title clears the trim.
