Minimal contrast capital sans
Nerona is a minimal contrast capital sans in white over a portrait veiled by netting: wide capitals with a broad round O, thin diagonal joins, flat terminals and slight contrast, set as one word with an oval maker's badge above, a tracked line beneath and a year at the foot.

Sturdy stroke walls and open counters weed cleanly on adhesive vinyl, HTV apparel film, and cut cardstock.
Visual anatomy & craft review
The word spans the plate and the drawing is a capital sans with light contrast: the O is broad and round, the joins are thin diagonals, and the terminals are flat, which gives a minimal face enough modulation to read as fashion rather than as a system grotesque. The netted portrait behind it is staging, and the placement shows that the thin diagonals survive over a granular image because the word is large. The oval badge, the tracked line and the year are all product furniture and they carry the studio, the style and the year. Because the contrast is slight, the face holds at moderate sizes better than an extreme contrast sans, which makes it usable for a label as well as a masthead, and the plate sets it large enough to judge the diagonals.

Concrete hierarchy, scale and production guidance tailored to Nerona’s stroke geometry.
A minimal contrast sans gives a skincare brand a clean mark, and the flat terminals survive a small foil-blocked label. Foil rewards restraint.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 45 by 60 mm label: the brand at 12 pt, the product at 7 pt, and the volume at 6 pt. Keep 4 mm inside the die and keep the finest join above 0.3 mm.
Pre-production check
Check the 12 pt brand in foil, where a thin join can fill; keep it above 0.3 mm. Confirm the 6 pt volume reads on a bottle and that the label holds in a warm bathroom.
A minimal contrast sans gives a design cover restraint, and the wide O lets a short title hold a wide measure. A minimal face survives a busy cover image.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Set the title at 100 mm cap height across 205 mm, the subtitle in a 9 pt sans, and the issue at 7 pt. Print one ink on a coated stock and keep the title off the image.
Pre-production check
Check the title at 100 mm, where a thin diagonal can break on coated stock; proof it. Confirm the 7 pt issue survives lamination and that the title reads at thumbnail size.
A minimal contrast sans sets a modern invitation without ornament, and the wide capitals carry a couple's names in one line.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
A5 invitation: the names at 25 pt, the request in a 9.5 pt serif, and the date at 8.5 pt caps. Keep 24 mm margins and letterpress one ink on a heavy card.
Pre-production check
Check the 25 pt names in letterpress, where a thin join can sink; proof the plate first. Confirm the request reads at arm's length and that the names clear the trim.
