Narrow festive serifs with tall proportions and extended curled loops
Marry Christmas is a narrow festive serif in which the letters run tall and lean, the capitals carry extended loops and the descenders curl into long tails, so a greeting reads as an engraved seasonal plate.

Sturdy stroke walls and open counters weed cleanly on adhesive vinyl, HTV apparel film, and cut cardstock.
Visual anatomy & craft review
The capital M is drawn with narrow splayed stems and a raised vertex, and each capital in the phrase carries a hairline loop that extends beyond the letter body, which is what gives the composition its ornamental frame. The lowercase stays narrow with a moderate contrast and fine serifs, so the words read at 30 pt while the loops supply the decoration. Weight sits in the vertical stems and thins at the joins, and the descenders on the second word drop into long curls that overlap the line beneath, which is how the two words interlock in the sample. Counters are narrow but open enough to hold. The pale ground, the red inks, the pine and baubles in the corners and the small caption are presentation; the typeface is the two words.

Concrete hierarchy, scale and production guidance tailored to Marry Christmas’s stroke geometry.
The loops give a seasonal card its ornament without illustration, and the narrow serifs keep a two-word greeting readable at 30 pt on a small format.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Set the greeting at 30 pt on a 148 by 105 mm card, set the family name in a 7 pt caps serif at the foot, and leave 16 mm of margin so the loops stay inside the trim.
Pre-production check
Hairline loops under 0.15 mm drop out in offset; ask for the printer's minimum line and thicken the loops rather than the stems.
The engraved weight reads at a distance on a stall board, and the loops keep a short sign from looking like a plain serif at 12 cm.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Set the stall name at 12 cm on a 900 by 500 mm board, set the dates in a plain sans at 4 cm beneath, and leave 12 cm of margin so the curls stay on the board.
Pre-production check
Painted hairlines on a board read thin outdoors; check the sign in daylight and paint the loops with a liner rather than a flat brush.
The narrow festive lettering suits a kraft tag, and the loops give a small piece a finished look at 14 pt where a plain serif would look bare.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Set the greeting at 14 pt on a 50 by 90 mm kraft tag, keep the recipient in a 7 pt sans, and leave a clear 12 mm band at the top for the punched hole.
Pre-production check
Kraft absorbs ink and can close the narrow counters; print one tag on the actual stock and open the counters if they begin to fill.
