Sturdy stroke walls and open counters weed cleanly on adhesive vinyl, HTV apparel film, and cut cardstock.
Visual anatomy & craft review
Meltypie is a liquid melted psychedelic groovy display: letters drawn as soft blobs with stretched joins, drips hanging from the baseline and round terminals that sag under their own weight. It is the lettering of a seventies poster, and the drips are what make the word look poured rather than written. The drips are the finest element and they merge into neighbours as soon as the face is reduced. It needs roughly 40 mm for the drip and the blob to read, and it is best in two flat inks on coated stock where the edge stays crisp.

A melted groovy display makes a dessert brand look poured rather than printed. The drips hold at 40 mm on a sticker, and two flat inks the sticker and the cup in one order.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Sticker 90 x 60 mm, word 40 mm with 10 mm drip clearance, 5 mm die margin. Cup print 70 x 50 mm, word 18 mm, 5 mm margins. Board 600 x 900 mm, word 120 mm, 30 mm margins.
Pre-production check
A 70 x 50 mm cup panel at 18 mm runs the drips into the letters below and the word reads as a blob. Raise cup type to 28 mm, and check one printed cup before the order.
A groovy melted display reads as a hand-pulled seventies poster rather than a modern flyer. The drips hold at 120 mm on a poster, and two flat inks print the poster and the bands in one order.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Poster A2, word 120 mm with 14 mm drip clearance, details 36 mm, 20 mm margins. Wristband 250 x 25 mm, word 8 mm, 4 mm safe edge. Banner 1200 x 400 mm, word 160 mm, 25 mm safe edge.
Pre-production check
At 8 mm on a wristband the drips close into the letters and the word prints as a bar. Drop the word from the band and use a flat mark, and check one band before the print.
A melted groovy script announces a summer birthday the way a poster does. The drips hold at 44 mm on a topper, and two inks print the invite and the wraps as one set.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Invite A6, word 44 mm with 12 mm drip clearance, details 8/11 pt, 12 mm margins. Topper 130 x 110 mm, word 48 mm with a 6 mm stick slot and 12 mm clear. Cup wrap 200 x 90 mm, word 20 mm, 12 mm from the rim.
Pre-production check
A 130 mm vinyl topper at 48 mm has drips that weld shut during weeding and the word fills in. Keep drips at 3 mm or above, and weed one topper before the party.
