Manciety is a fine-line Chicano calligraphy script supplied with more than 290 glyphs, including ligatures, alternates and multilingual support, crowned by symmetrical scroll flourishes and four-point accents. The lowercase is a poised shaded copperplate inside an elaborate filigree frame, so the ornament and the lettering share one weight rather than fighting. Because the fine lines are the design, the face needs 30 mm and up, and the flourishes must be given space on all four sides. It is a plaque, cover and apparel face, and it is at its most convincing in one metallic ink.
