Broad slanted marker capitals
Letter Marker is a broad slanted marker capital set in chalky white on black: thick brush strokes with dry ends, a consistent forward lean and a short underline swash beneath the second line.

Sturdy stroke walls and open counters weed cleanly on adhesive vinyl, HTV apparel film, and cut cardstock.
Visual anatomy & craft review
Both words are set in capitals and stacked with the second line slightly wider, and the face is a brush marker: the L and the M are built from fat diagonal strokes, the e and the r are compressed, the k throws a leg and the final r of Marker ends in a dry flick, while the ends of every stroke break into a chalky edge, which is what makes a marker face read as painted rather than printed. The stroke is heavy and even, the slant is strong and consistent, and the counters are narrow enough that the words hold at a distance. A single underline swash sits under the second line and ties the block together, and small tracked capitals at the corners carry the notes: all caps, and an establishment year. Letter Marker is a display face for signage, apparel, posters and packaging, and it works best in one or two words at a large size.

Concrete hierarchy, scale and production guidance tailored to Letter Marker’s stroke geometry.
A chalky marker capital gives a street feature a voice that a smooth sans cannot, and the heavy strokes hold over a photograph in one flat colour.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 230 by 300 mm cover: set the cover word at 96 pt over two lines, keep 24 mm of clear ground beneath before the cover lines at 11 pt, and hold 22 mm of margin on all four sides.
Pre-production check
Dry stroke ends can look like a printing fault at large sizes; print one cover at the finished size and judge the texture before the run.
A marker capital reads as a sign painted on site, which suits a reception held in a yard rather than a ballroom, and one flat colour keeps the cost down.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 600 by 400 mm board: set the greeting at 100 pt over two lines, keep 26 mm of clear ground beneath before the names at 24 pt, and hold 22 mm of border on all four sides.
Pre-production check
A strong slant can make stacked lines look tipped; print one board at the final size and check the alignment before the set.
A broad marker capital sets a designed tone on a plain page, and the dry edges give the opener texture without an illustration or a tinted panel.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 230 by 300 mm opener: set the title at 84 pt over two lines, keep 26 mm of clear ground beneath before the standfirst at 11 pt, and hold 22 mm of margin on both sides.
Pre-production check
A heavy face with a lean uses more width than expected; print one opener at the finished size and check the fitting before the issue.
