Rope-drawn western script
Lasso Lore is a western duo drawn entirely in rope: letters made of twisted cord with visible knots, a small capital set beneath for the style line, and a border of coiled rope around the sheet.

Sturdy stroke walls and open counters weed cleanly on adhesive vinyl, HTV apparel film, and cut cardstock.
Visual anatomy & craft review
Both display words are drawn as lengths of rope, so each letter is a loop of twisted strands with a knot where the stroke changes direction, which turns a script and a capital into a single illustration rather than a typeface with a texture applied. The first word runs across the middle, the second sits below it larger, and a smaller capital set at the foot names the style in a clean western serif so the rope stays decorative rather than the only voice on the sheet. A longhorn skull is drawn between the two words, and the whole composition is framed by a rope border with coils at the corners and two small horse and rider marks at the bottom. Lasso Lore is a thematic duo for western events, packaging and signage, and it is at its best on a large format where the rope detail can be seen.

Concrete hierarchy, scale and production guidance tailored to Lasso Lore’s stroke geometry.
A rope-drawn duo turns a plain board into scenery, and the theme reads from a distance even before a guest can make out the words.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 600 by 400 mm board: set the main word at 100 pt, set the name at 26 pt in the small capital cut beneath with 22 mm of clear ground, and hold 24 mm of border on all four sides.
Pre-production check
Rope detail closes up when printed small; print one board at the final size and check the knots before the set.
A rope script gives a themed cover an image made entirely of type, which saves a photograph and keeps the whole page in one colour.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 230 by 300 mm cover: set the cover word at 90 pt on one line, keep 26 mm of clear ground beneath before the cover lines at 11 pt, and hold 22 mm of margin on all four sides.
Pre-production check
Thin rope strands break on newsprint; print one cover on the intended stock and check the twists before the run.
The face is an event identity in itself, and the rope border turns a poster into a framed object that a visitor would keep on a wall.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print an A2 poster: set the title at 110 pt over two lines, keep 28 mm of clear ground beneath before the dates at 22 pt, and hold 26 mm of margin on all four sides of the sheet.
Pre-production check
A drawn border can collide with a bleed edge; print one proof at the final size and check the crop before the run.
