Upright rounded script with a heart swash and a spiral exit
Handmade is an upright rounded script in which the downstrokes stay heavy, the d loops rise narrow, a heart sprouts from one upper loop and the closing letter finishes in a large circular spiral, so a phrase reads as written with love.

Visual anatomy & craft review
The d and l lift tall narrow loops, the downstrokes keep an even heavy weight, the connectors run smooth and low, and the exit turns into a wide open spiral that travels beside the word. The heart and the spiral are the character: both are drawn swashes rather than decorations laid over the text, which is why the sample sets one short phrase and nothing else. Because the loop and spiral take room, the face needs 1.1 inches of x-height in vinyl and 18 pt in print, and the joins must be welded into one path before cutting. The pale ground, the faint dotted rule and the small caps line are presentation; the dark phrase and its swashes are the face.

The heart swash carries the message without a second motif, and the heavy body keeps the phrase clear at 30 pt across a small card.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print an A6 card: set the phrase at 30 pt across the middle, keep 12 mm at the right for the spiral exit, and leave the lower half plain so a written message stays clear of the curl.
Pre-production check
A spiral exit printed off the trim loses its last turn; check the card and keep the whole curl 8 mm inside the trim.
The rounded script suits a small gift tag, and the even weight holds at 22 pt on a 50 mm card with a punched hole sitting close to the spiral exit.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 50 by 85 mm tag: set the line at 22 pt, punch a 4 mm hole 10 mm from the top, and keep the spiral 8 mm clear of the hole so the tag stays strong on a ribbon.
Pre-production check
A hole punched through a thin swash tears the card; check the die and shift the hole 5 mm away from the spiral.
The warm script makes a plain jam jar feel personal, and the upright weight stays readable at 20 pt on a 60 mm round label with a batch date beneath it.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 60 mm round label: set the phrase at 20 pt, keep 6 mm inside the die, and set the batch date in a 6 pt caps along the lower curve where the swirl cannot reach.
Pre-production check
A spiral printed across the curved label edge distorts; check the wrap and keep the exit inside the flat panel.
