Bouncy bold brush-pen cursive with long entry and exit strokes
Bestie is a bouncy bold brush-pen cursive with swelling strokes, a baseline that rises and falls and long entry and exit strokes that leave the word on both sides.

Visual anatomy & craft review
The b opens with a long flat entry that comes in from the left, then a swollen stem before the loop closes, and the letters after it keep the bounce: the e rises above the x-height, the s dips below, the t is crossed high with a short bar and the final e lifts into a long exit that curls up. Weight varies within each stroke, heavier at the centre and lighter at the turns, which is what makes the phrase read as brush-pen writing rather than a designed script. The bounce is regular enough to keep a word together, and the ascenders and descenders stay short so the composition holds a horizontal band. The blurred background and the two small captions are presentation; the script is the word.

Concrete hierarchy, scale and production guidance tailored to Bestie’s stroke geometry.
The bouncy brush hand reads warmly and personally, and the long entry and exit let a single word fill a landscape card without extra ornament.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Set the word at 30 pt on a 148 by 105 mm card, keep the date in a 7 pt sans at the foot, and leave 18 mm at each end so both strokes taper inside the trim.
Pre-production check
A long exit stroke near the trim looks cut even when intact; check the proof at final size and inset the word by 6 mm before the run.
The bold brush weight reads across a room and the bounce gives a plain banner some movement, which suits an informal celebration.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Set the greeting at 70 mm on a 1.2 m fabric banner, keep the name at 45 mm beneath it, and leave 30 mm at each end so the exit stroke finishes inside the hem.
Pre-production check
Fabric printing blunts brush variation; check a proof at final size and confirm the swollen stems still read as brush work.
The bounce and the bold weight hold at sticker size, and the long entry and exit strokes let a short shop name fill a round die.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Set the shop name at 14 pt on a 50 mm round sticker, keep the thanks in a 6 pt sans, and leave 5 mm inside the die so the entry stroke is not clipped.
Pre-production check
A round die cuts close to a long stroke; check the artwork against the die and shorten the entry rather than shrinking the word.
