Visual anatomy & craft review
Farmhouse Village is a three-font family of a tall sans, a script and more than a hundred and forty doodles: the sans is narrow with blunt ends for lists and prices, the script runs a light stroke with joined letters for names, and the doodles supply drawn jars, wheat, houses and stars at the same weight. All three share one palette so a market stall can be built from one purchase. The script needs roughly 24 mm and the doodles 20 mm for their detail to read.

A tall sans with a script and a doodle set lets a farm shop build a board and a bag from one family. The script signs the name at 70 mm, and the sans lists the produce at 22 mm in the same pass.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Board 900 x 600 mm, script 70 mm with 10 mm loop clearance, sans 26 mm, 25 mm margins. Bag print 200 x 250 mm, script 50 mm, sans 10 mm, 15 mm margins. Card 85 x 55 mm, script 16 mm, sans 8 pt, 5 mm margins.
Pre-production check
A 200 x 250 mm bag printed at 50 mm wicks along the kraft fibre and the script fills into blocks. Raise the word to 60 mm or print on coated kraft, and check one bag on the production stock.
A farmhouse script with a tall sans gives a country wedding a hand-written invitation with typed details. The script signs the names at 28 pt, and the sans sets the timings at 9 pt in the same ink.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Invitation 130 x 180 mm, names 28 pt with 10 mm loop clearance, details 9/13 pt, 16 mm margins. Menu 120 x 210 mm, header 16 pt, courses 9/12 pt. Place card 90 x 50 mm, name 14 pt, 4 mm margins.
Pre-production check
At 14 pt on a place card the script's joins close and the name reads as a plain monoline. Raise place cards to 18 pt, and proof one card before the suite.
A farmhouse script reads as a written note rather than a printed acknowledgement, and the doodles decorate it without a second file. The script holds at 22 mm, and one ink prints the card, the label and the tag in one pass.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Card A6, script 22 mm with 8 mm loop clearance, doodle 22 mm, 12 mm margins. Jar label 70 x 45 mm, script 12 mm, 4 mm die margin. Market tag 50 x 90 mm, script 12 mm, 5 mm hole with 8 mm clear.
Pre-production check
A 70 x 45 mm jar label at 12 mm closes the bounce into a straight line on wet-strength paper. Raise the label to 16 mm, and check one labelled jar before the batch.
