Angular collegiate capitals with slab ends and segmented horizontal bars
Eternal College shows broad athletic capitals in two pale lines on black. The bowls are squared off, the corners clipped and the endpoints slab-like, while some horizontal portions sit as separate short bars below or within the main letter shape, adding a segmented rhythm without a conventional all-over outline.

Visual anatomy & craft review
The strokes stay broad, the corners clip, the slabs end square and the bars break away from the body. That segmentation is the character: the letters look die-cut in parts rather than outlined, which is why the sample stacks two rows tight. The image does not prove embroidery or stencil compatibility, so check which letters carry separated bars, how those parts behave at 24 pt and whether a real team name belongs in this face at all. The separated bars are the risk: the detached segments need their own bridges, so under 24 pt they close into the body and the letter reads as a plain block on a shirt.

The segmented slabs suit a college shirt, and the broad strokes hold a two-word name at 65 mm across a printed panel, where the clipped corners survive the screen.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 280 mm back panel: set the two-row name at 65 mm with 14 mm between baselines, keep 10 mm between letters so the detached bars stay separate, and keep 18 mm of margin from the side seams.
Pre-production check
Detached bars merge with the letter above at tight leading; check the proof and open the gap to 16 mm.
The athletic caps read across a field, and the squared bowls hold a two-word title at 55 mm on a printed banner, where the slab ends stay legible at distance.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 900 by 400 mm banner: set the title at 55 mm on one row, keep 26 mm of clear ground beneath before the times at 16 pt, and keep 30 mm from the welded edge so no bar is cut.
Pre-production check
Separated bars may not survive embroidery; check the format before ordering a stitched version.
The blocky caps give a plate presence, and the clipped corners hold a team name at 24 pt on an 80 by 30 mm plate, where the segmented bars stay distinct in one colour.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print an 80 by 30 mm plate: set the team name at 24 pt on one row, keep 7 mm of clear ground at each end, and keep the bars printed in the same ink so they read as part of the letter.
Pre-production check
At 18 pt the separated bars look like print faults; check the proof and hold the name at 22 pt.
